More 5th gen fun facts!

The new Electric type leech/lamprey evolution line is the only one since the 1st gen to require a Thunderstone for final form

The Ghost/Fire evolution line is the only one where a non-2nd gen pokemon evolves with a Dusk stone

Boappu (Fire monkey) is the only pokemon outside of 1st gen that evolves with Fire Stone

Ononokusu (the final form of Kibago) is the only Dragon pokemon to end a 3 stage evolution line and be both a pure dragon and a non-pseudo-legendary

Of all Ice types in 5th gen, the legendary Ice/Dragon is the only dual typed Ice pokemon

The pre-evolved form of the Electric/Bug spider pokemon is currently the smallest pokemon in the world. (No it can not breed with Wailord)

Jaroda (Tsutarja's final form) is the only legless starter and the only starter based on a snake

Pokabu's evolution line are the only starters with a signature move, Heat Stamp

Genosect (legendary Bug/Steel) and the Fire/Bug moth are the ONLY bug types that can learn Fly, ironically they are not flying types.

The Ground/Ghost golem pokemon can learn fly as well.

The 5th gen has introduced more pokemon then any other gen, including the 1st gen.

The Gear evolution line are the only Pure Steel types with an evolution line

The Bug/Steel ant pokemon and the Pure Fire Anteater are a new rivalry. This is the only rivalry that seems truly one-sided, as the ant is 4x weak to the anteater.

The legendary Pure Flying type is the ONLY pokemon that has a truly unique pure type (He can NOT legitimately learn Roost)

The Electric type lamprey evolution line is the only set of pokemon that:
1: Have no weakness but are not Ghost/Dark

2: Are the only pokemon with no weakness to have an evolution line

They have no weakness due to the fact that they are pure Electric with Levitate

Of all 2 stage evolution lines, the Fire/Bug one has the highest level requirement, lvl 59

Of all 3 stage evolution lines, the Dark/Dragon pseudo-legendary line has the highest Stage 1-Stage 2 lvl requirement, lvl 50. It also has the highest required level of all for final form, lvl 64

Of all 5th gen pokemon, the Pigeon's final form and the Water/Ghost evolution line are the ONLY pokemon with gender differences.

Genosect's pokedex entry is the only one that mentions a villainous team in it.

Not counting pokemon that evolve into something from a later generation, of all not fully evolved pokemon, the First form Rock/Flying fossil bird has the highest base stat total.

The final form of the new Rock/Flying bird fossil pokemon has the 2nd highest base stat total of all non-legendary and non-pseudo-legendary pokemon with a total of 567 (the same number as its National pokedex number). The highest is Slaking. Both pokemon have a self-hindering ability.

Desukan, the Coffin Ghost type pokemon, has the highest Defense of ALL Ghost types

The Ground/Ghost golem thing has the highest Attack of all Ghosts

The Fire/Ghost chandelier has the highest Sp Attack of all non-legendary Ghost AND Fire types
