Wow! Congrats to folks who've found Poundfist! That's really awesome, and good to know that he is not a myth after all.

I've had a bit of a dry spell in finding WoD mounts, so I went back and did some old raids. Firelands (partially) gave it up!

Oh my god. I almost died of a heart attack. I seriously was shaking.

I just can't believe it. I've been camping with a group from Drakkari US since the first EU Poundfist kill was announced yesterday morning. Non-stop save for the four or five hours I slept after passing out. When I woke up it was back to camping. That's nearly 30 hours.

He finally spawned near Breaker's point today at 5:40 pm PST. The group was awesome about summoning everyone, while yelling "STOP!!" to the people attacking. Luckily though, just two randoms were attacking him & not doing too much damage. We got everyone there in time for the kill. Just awesome!

We were one of the last servers to get this guy but man was it rewarding to finally kill him. I thought I'd never see him.




The gronnling was my 250th mount as well, so I got this pretty bird too!

Wow congratz! so many poundfists!! ive been trying to camp this. But since its such long timer, and that i dont really fanzy it much i dont think ill spend days camping like i did with pathrunner and nakk. I think this thing is ugly. But if i found a grp that sayes he is up i would have jumped the gun ofc its still an unque mount.

So ive been stalking the grp finder. And this morning i found a group that was named Gorok up!! I joined that and flew to Frostfire and got this kinda cute boar.

It is ugly, but fun to ride around on Plus being a mount collector, I believed that I HAD TO HAVE IT. Esp. after camping hours and hours and after so long you kinda dig yourself into a hole. You don't want to leave and have him spawn... So many hours wasted.

You just keep telling yourself "He'll spawn soon. Just one more hour".

Times that by ten.

I know the feeling did the same when i camped Nakk and Pathrunner. The only one ive actually camped and have showed up is Path. Nakk,luk and Gorok i found grps for that had them spawned.

I finished training two of my mounts today! It was a pleasant surprise, I'd completely lost count.


Edit, oh, and a few days back I had only my newest mounts show up in my Stables. :D Figured it was the perfect chance to easily show them off.

Camped poundfist for 20 hours straight, missed him in 5 different groups cause of the weird server phasings =/ Hopefully thursday/friday i get him finally.

From what i heard the *respawn* starts at 56 hours after the reset that happened in EU, so i'm gonna have plenty of camping to do =/

I know it's not a huge deal anymore since the older dungeons have been nerfed and we're all higher levels now, but I finally got my Rusted Protodrake. This has been my favorite dragon mount since I first saw it, but it was never accessible to me. The raiding group I was in back in WotLK only saw Yogg-Saron once, and we were not serious enough to complete all the hard modes. In later expansions, I never could find people who wanted to do old content with me (being terribly shy didn't help).

I did all but one of the achievements last week in one lock out. I flubbed Kologarn but just got him this morning.

And wow, the Yogg-Saron fight is such a pain!

SO HAPPY! I'll probably ride him around as a ground mount in Draenor because I love him so much.

Tried for the Blazing Drake ... while it didn't drop, I finished off my meta for Dragon Soul. Soloing Spine is a pain in the nards, but it can be done!

finished off my mount hunt last night. was camping the hippo but i didn't trust the group very much so when i saw a gorok camp going on i switched over. about 40 min later he spawned. a horde quester tried to kill him before everyone was there but we managed to cc him long enough for everyone to get a tag. this is my new camping record, becoming my easiest rare camp yet. good thing too, hate camping in frostfire. @.@


joined another group for the hippo later at night. really friendly group. after an hour or two of camping someone said it was up on a friends server. turned out to be a troll but then a bunch of different groups saying silthide was up started showing up. the group broke up and joined these groups. i ended up in a different group than the rest of them. the player was from our original group and the rare really was up, but he refused to invite any more than the two players he needed to help him kill it. said he wanted to keep the mount rare. ugh. hate players like that. its already fairly common and it was made to share! >.<
I got my kill but i really, really hope that nice group i was in also managed to find a legit spawn since i could not invite them myself. they never regrouped so i can only assume they found him. kind of put a bit of a damper on what was going to be my cherry on top. still, mount camping is done. time to get ready for pvp/raids.

I ran across another group of players I can't stand last night -- someone was advertising on the group finder that Poundfist was up, but when I read the description, they were "selling" the tag for 30k a pop. I have no issue tipping for a find like that... but no, never did find out whether or not Poundie really was up on the other server or they were just trying to pull a fast one.

(Of course, one could also argue that 30k for Poundfist isn't all that much, considering Garns go for over 40k on my server ... and they're easy to farm if you have the patience.)

Finally got my first two mounts from stables.

#252 & #253. (Or 296 & 297 if you count Alli )



This is my favorite wolf color but their run just... I can't even use it it's so bad. I really hope they fix it so it isn't so fast.

So maybe after an hour or two kinda struggling with some of the bosses i finished the achievement for this one. I kinda like the armored boars more than the natural ones. I kinda like this.

I know this advice is a little late seeing as you finished already but hopefully it'll be useful for the Frostwolf when/if you do that achievement.

If the difficulty you had was keeping your mount alive, mend pet heals it. So does the talent exhilaration.

Unless you did it on your warlock - didn't notice the character you were on

You people who are using Mend Pet to heal the mount, how are you managing that? My Mend Pet turns into Revive Pet when I mount the trainee, so I can't cast it.

It was on Warlock. My hunter is still at lvl 90. havent had time to lvl her yet:)
