Then, as I said in one of my previous posts, you should look into getting a Photobucket (or some other photo hosting equivalent site) and upload your photos to there first and then link them here. That example link I gave was taken directly from my Photobucket account; which will also automatically place IMG tags around the photo as well.

If your screenshots are particularly large, the website probably won't let you attach them to your post.

Got my new bear ^_^ he has been hanging out with me but won't finish till about tomorrow due to my vp cap lock and I don't do heroics I don't have to do

Purple Nether Ray

I was given this fellow as my roll, so I headed out to Zangarmarsh to tame "Count" Ungula
The tame went very smoothly, as I am 71, and he was...63 I think? Lowest level one of this skin. Since he's a quest mob, he's always there, unless someone just tamed/killed him

I named him Blobby.

First off, Appearance:


He's a very nice combination of shades of purple, along with a little pink and silver. His underside is extremely dark purple, with a sort of "light" on his stomach which is very sparkly and bright (or at least on my graphics) His back is silver with a pinkish purple stripe down it with little pink stripes shooting off to the sides into the silver. My favorite part was the end of his tail, a three-pronged tip, the middle being a nice bluish grey with dark pinkish purple stripes, and the two outer pieces the same, but with little pink "frills" coming off the top and bottom. I personally don't like Nether ray faces...they have five very bright silvery eyes, which is fine and all, but the mouth...oh, the mouth! I would hate to get bitten by one of these things! Rows of teeth (about three rows I think...Blobby wouldn't hold still long enough for me to see) extend as far back as you can see in the mouth. All in all, Nether rays look like very viscous, colorful umbrellas On a 1-10 scale, this skin gets an 8 among all nether ray colors

Second: Combat and Movement


His combat animations were surprisingly good in my opinion...Blobby lunges with his teeth quite a bit, but mainly strikes with his tail, bringing it under his body to whack the enemy...in the face. The tooth lunge looks very good (middle pic on the top row is a failed attempt at catching it) where he first comes up, then dives down and bites. On a 1-10 scale, combat animations get a 9...very good, but could do with a bit more variety in my opinion.

Movement...movement is sadly lacking in my opinion. After running around and swimming with him for a bit, it appears his idle, swimming, and running animations are all very, very close. Swimming is slowed down running, and running is idle, but he flaps more and is a little more stretched out...1-10, I give them a 4...they could have had a lot better, but they still seem to fit him.

Combat in general was good...he did decent damage and held fairly good aggro, but killed the mobs fast enough that it didn't really matter. The noises fit him very well and weren't annoying at all to me, either.

Overall, I give this pet probably a 7...the skin and combat capabilities were wonderful, but the animations were slightly lacking with movement, which bugs me since I see my pets run and swim a LOT. Blobby will not be staying with Kylah, but I may get a nether ray on a different hunter at some point. Thanks for introducing me to these rare pets that no one seems to love. Seriously people! Give them some love! They're great for levelling, but Oatmeal the rhino is my buddy for now

Kurenio, I'm sorry, but running both Pet Challenge threads gets to be pretty time consuming, on top of raiding and working so if you could please limit your rolls to two, maybe three hunters and fill out the forms for them individually, it would be appreciated.

My roll was the Black Fox! I went out to Redridge and tamed him with no trouble at all

First off appearance:


A fairly "plain" skin, this little fellow is a nice bluish grey-black, with a white underbelly and yellow eyes. He's very cute, and his special "bonus ability" is a dance, which is adorable! On a scale of 1-10, this skin gets a 9

Secondly, animations, combat and movement:

The animations are very good. His running is a kind of cute bounding run, and his walking is a trotting type thing. His swim is a doggy paddle, and very fitting. His idle animations are the same as a regular wolf, and his big ears flop around when he sniffs the ground. With 1-10, he gets a 9 1/2 ^^

His noises are little barks and yips, which are very cute imo, but some people think they're annoying

I love foxes, and he is fantastic, but I love my Ashtail (Who I have to retame...he vanished o.o)

All in all, foxes of any type get a 10 to me

Green and yellow parrot. Had two incarnations, because I tamed, then abandoned him for Aotona, but liked his model so much that I dropped Olm the Wise and tamed him again. So here's his two incarnations. The second is the one that will be featured in the rest of the pics. The first was my Aotona replacement. The second image is of Gabe right after the tame and me sitting on the roof top I had to be on to tame him. These bird fly up really high:

Gabby flying as I'm running. He does the usual flappy bird animations. I do wish he could actually FLY and fly around with my flying mount though:



Combat shot. He makes really screeching bird noises, but that can be turned off if its bothersome:



Water shot. Gabe doesn't swim so much as flap his wings really slowly when moving through the water. I think it looks very majestic:

Overall, gorgeous pet. Very useful in pvp for the "snatch" ability to disarm an opponent. In pve, he can hold aggro pretty good, but doesn't seem as good at it as the tenacity or ferocity pets. I think he would make an excellent pvp pet or just a pet to parade around Org or SW, because many people compliment his coloring.

Restrictions: Can only review pets. Stables are full. Have all Firelands and Cata/WOTLK rares, and Gezzarak the Huntress, along with a turquoise and yellow parrot and a sword in the head wolf. Also just got Aotona. Dropped Olm the Wise for the green parrot again. Can still review it. Your site calls the parrot green and yellow, but he looks more turquoise on my screen. He's pretty.

Woot so I got my review done for the diseased black bear! I have to say I was surprised by my roll as my first pet I used for a long term was Diseased Brown bear.

So I decided to start going threw and doing a staring contest and swimming in grizzly hills I thought it was appropriate. Sadly this bear still won't get clean no matter how much you dunk it in water.

Oh also how I specked him when I first got him.


Ok now that fun time is over lets go do some farming


Along the way he did what all good pets do hold off the adds while you ninja your loot! I also ran into another annoying farmer named Criptor.... I don't know why but I decided to name my bear after him lol

we also went finishing were we swapped stories.

ok so now were off to do some fireland daily's



Honestly I have been running with my spirit beast Skoll for so long I have kind of forgotten how nice it is to just pull HUGE mobs and get it all done at once. But the way I had my bear specked did not work well and almost got us both killed a few times soo I had to respec my bear. But even with the bad spec he handled up to 5-6 mobs at a time. I kept him in my focus and made sure to target only the adds he was attacking. He did great!

Ok Off the the dungeons!



Even with growl off he was still pulling aggro and it kind of ticked the tank off so I switched to another pet. BUT I decided I would try using him as a solo pet for the old Wrath Heroic Dungeons.



This is also his new spec... NOTHING touched him this bear could take a hit and keep on coming.

Ok so for PVP yeah he has the reduced damage on him and that does help with questing and solo runs, but that did not seem to help my lack of PvP skills



Yup that's me dead most the time



All in all I love this pet he looks like something that will just rip anything apart and specked right he will. I have run with much worse tanks than him as well. Running with him to me was like running with a old friend I give this pet a 5 star and a BEAR hug rating because in my book there is no better bear out there

Okay, I decided to put mine into pretty pages like everyone else x3

So my random pet was the Black Devilsaur -- and he was annoying to find down in Un'goro. I found the white one 6 times. >:(

The skin:


This guy has some pretty wicked eyes, probably my favourite part about the skin.
I've always liked how detailed the scales are on devilsaurs, with the cracks and stripes..but I -hate- the beige belly on this guy. It doesn't match at all. I'd keep him if he had a different belly colour.

Sounds/Animations:
The idle animation is really cute imo, the way they wiggle their little arms. The special noise that he makes is god awful, though, sometimes he'll do it three times in a matter of seconds- its a very, very loud roaring noise. They walk/run very nicely, and the /walk they do is very adorable! Combat animations look smooth, though I've noticed that half of their combat noises are raptor noises. The rest are new devilsaur noises.

Conclusion:
Devilsaurs, over all, are a well designed family- this guy's belly just needs a recolour! Their spec is ferocity and his spell is Terrifying Roar, which lasts 60 seconds and has a 31 second cooldown- it increases all party and raid member's crit chance by 5%, quite a nice PVE buff if you don't have a sub rogue in the group.

Also, this is what me and Dino found while mucking around in a few different zones:
I tamed Mosh since I have never seen him before and let Krush wander on.

she does good dps (at lv 50) and won me a few duels.
over all i love the model and she is a keeper.
