Faron, Cultist Camp

Faron snarled, backing up grimacing in pain. He retaliated with a burst of electricity, backing away to avoid getting attacked.

Tirrae screeched in rage, lashing her tail madly and standing in front of Azunara. She forced spiked rocks from the ground below Kozri.

Azunara and Kozri
Cultist Camp

Azunara watched Kozri with a look of shock and pain. Why did he hurt her? She pressed herself to Tirrae, unsure of herself. Kozri glanced at the druid, and seeing her distress caused him to be even more upset. He took the lightning bolt, and winced as the spikes came up, smashing into his legs and stabbing them, even trying to trap him.

He gave a snarl of fury, desperate. What could he do now? He shattered the rocks with a blast of energy, glad that druid had healed him before the fight. He attempted to stay upright, and hissed at Faron. "Your fault." He hissed hatefully, leaping forward out of desperation to tackle Faron.

((Sleep time. Whoot!))

Faron and Tirrae, Cultist Camp

Tirrae paused, curling her tail protectively around Azunara and glaring at Kozri.

Faron blinked as the rogue tackled him. He hadn't expected that at all. As much as it wasn't a particularly well thought out attack, it was at least surprising. He twisted his neck, biting savagely at Kozri, sparks jumping from his pelt. He also attempted to whack the rogue over the head with a paw, though the fact that wolf anatomy didn't allow that dampened the attack to a flail.

Swift - Cultist camp

Not knowing who to attack, Swift let out a wave of fire towards Kozri and Faron.

Zaruuk - Elwynn

Zaruuk moved though the camp, unseen but quickly tiring. Maintaining his invisibility was becoming costly, he hoped he'd find what he was lookign for quickly. He looked around the side of a tent, only to see Kozri fighting with Faron and... Azu? Hadn't she been on their side before?
Behind them was a cage with an unconsious Indi in it, with scorchmarks on the ground nearby. He guessed he found his explosion. His fingers twitched as he wondered what he should do. It didn't look like Kozri could last much longer...

Karzix - Cultist camp

Karzix squinted at Tirrae calculatingly as she forced spiky rocks up from the ground. He didn't like that warp stalker. Slowing time, throwing rocks around, jutting the ground up from under his feet. Those were attacks he found hard to avoid, and rather embarrassingly they were coming from an over-sized lizard. He glowered in her direction, then glanced back at Kozri. Right. Speaking of over-sized lizards... Karzix watched Kozri carefully as the rogue tackled Faron. Deciding that now was better than never, the goblin took in a breath, then darted out of his hiding spot.
"Keep 'im busy, you're doin' a great job!" He shot Kozri a somewhat panicked grin as he sprinted around them to the cage. He looked somewhat disappointed that trapped inside was Indi and not the draenei that owed him a few. Well, the death knight did buy him a coffee back at Goldshire. At least that made her good in his book. He eyed the somewhat battered lock and began to work at picking it, glancing over his shoulder every few seconds to watch the fight and make sure nothing was coming his way. ((Kozri disarmed the trap, right?))

Faron, Cultist Camp

Vallrok was not preoccupied fighting Kozri and saw Karzix, immediately picking up his crossbow. He aimed a poisoned bolt at the goblin and fired. ((Serpent Sting))

Zaruuk - Cultist Camp

Well, that answered that conundrum. Zaruuk charged forward, his invisibility fading as arcane energy began to arc around him. Funneling the power into a spell, the draenei launched it towards the troll that always seemed to acompany Faron. The energy pulsed outwards, forming into twin, spiralling bolts of arcane power, streaking towards their target. ((Arcane barrage))

Jraak and Haneed - Cultist Camp
((I haven't forgotten abotu my arakkoa, he'd just been shelved temporarily.))

Jraak moved into the camp, a hogtied human priest being dragged behind him; his latest catch for his flock's plan. He wondered what this rat's power would be channeled into. One of those flightless birds perhaps? Or maybe a chimera, that could be interesting. He clicked his tongue at the thought of a shadowy chimaera taking wing, strafing the rats atop their walls with a shadow-infused breath weapon.
He was shaken out of his musings by a screech from Haneed. He followed the ice owl's gaze, catching sight of the fight up ahead. With an enraged screech, Jraak lept forward, firing a blast of lighting at the green rat by the cage. ((Lightning Bolt))

Faron, Cultist Camp

Vallrok winced and fell back, the wolf wincing as well. He growled, launching a trap bound to e bolt at the draenei. As soon as the trap landed, it let out a high pitched shriek, calling venomous snakes from the ground to attack the draenei. The troll hoped one of the numerous poisons would slow down the mage's casting. ((That's how I imagine Snake Trap would work, anyway... It doesn't make sense to keep snakes around...))

Myriana and Swift - cultist camp

With no one to guide or control him, Swift was at loose ends. Not quite sure as to who was friend and who was foe, but not wanting to miss a good fight, the fox sent fireballs flying in all directions, aiming at anyone who moved. The fox gave a fiendish yip of delight as the flames around him grew brighter.

The hunter was floating in darkness. Every once and a while there was a flash of light, but they were becoming more infrequent. Myriana's breathing became shallower as she struggled to hold on to her life.

Karzix and Glix - Cultist camp

Karzix caught the sound of Vallrok's crossbow firing and dropped to the ground. The arrow clattered harmlessly off of the cage. The goblin got back up, about to throw one of his knives at the troll before Jraak's lighting bolt hit him. The goblin let out a sharp cry as the lightning passed through his body, gritting his teeth as the muscles in his hand contracted from the electricity and caused the blade of his throwing knife to dig into his hand. He dropped it when he got the chance and shot Jraak a furious look. He picked the bloodied knife up - holding it by the handle this time - and threw it, aiming at what he thought might be the arakkoa's weakest spot ((Deadly Throw)).

Glix shot the battle a worried glance before continuing. She could see another cage, within it the still form of Myri. She crept forward, hoping her invisibility would hold out. As she stepped in front of the cage, she heard a click. She managed to register the fact that this was a very, very bad sound just as the trap exploded beneath her. She was flung back a few feet and she groaned. So much for her sneaky rescue attempt. "Myri!" She hissed as she heaved herself back up, limping slightly. "Myri, are you okay? No? Well... well don't worry, I'll try and get you out of this thing!" She placed her hands on the lock and began to channel icy energy into it, hoping to make the metal cold and brittle enough to break. She cast the fighters a glance as she worked, hoping that the others could keep them at bay until she weakened the dranei's cage.

Zaruuk - Cultist Camp

The draenei swore out aloud as serpents began to glide towards him, trying to keep his hocks away from their fangs. He called forth a swell of arcane energy, blasting it out in a sphere around him, hoping that'd take care of the reptiles. ((Arcane Explosion))

Jraak and Haneed - Cultist Camp

Jraak cried out in pain and rage at the thrown knife managed to slice into his chest, although much of the attack was blocked by his chainmail mesh underneath his robes. He curled his talon to his side, summoning the elements to him. An orb of burning fire appeared in his hand, which he lobbed at Karzix with an expert throw. ((Flame Shock)) He ran along behind it, unlooping his axe and readying it for a strike against the green rat.
Haneed took wing from his master's shoulder, also following behind the fireball, his razor sharp talons poised to strike.

Faron and Tirrae, cultist camp

Vallrok used the distraction time to load his crossbow again, firing off two shots - one to get his aim right, and the other to do damage, laced with arcane energy. ((Steady and Arcane))

Tirrae lashed her tail, spying Glix. The ground around the goblin shook.

Karzix and Glix - Cultist camp

Karzix's eyes widened at the incoming attacks, then shut against the searing heat as the Flame Shock reached him. He dropped to the ground both to smother the flames and to dodge Jraak's swinging axe. He kicked out at the arrakoa's legs, aiming to trip him up. The goblin let out a hiss as Haneed's talons raked past his chest and shoulders, leaving deep gouges in the leather of his vest and tearing the fabric of his shirt and the skin underneath at his shoulders and upper arms. He swiped at the bird with his dagger.

Glix let out a startled noise as the ground beneath her trembled, knocking her off balance. She grabbed onto the cage's bars for support and gave the freezing cold lock a smack with her fist, but with no effect. She hauled herself up on top of the cage, trying to get away from the rumbling earth and to continue her work on getting Myri free. "Come on! Give me a break, here!" She growled under her breath, this time forcing heat onto the lock in further efforts to weaken it.

Zaruuk - Cultist Camp

The snakes dealt with, Zaruuk turned to face Varrok again, only to wince and clutch at his arm as a crosbow bolt nicked his skin. Seeing the troll take aim with another bolt, he summoned another sphere of arcane energy. This time, it held tight around the mage, forming a protective barrier. ((Mage shield)) The bolt skittered across the surface of the barrier, leaving the draenei unscathed. Zaruuk then dropped the shield, mumbing in draenic he began to weave another spell at Varrok; one that much more complex, aiming to shapeshift the troll into a form much less dangerous than his current one. ((Polymorph: Rabbit))

Jraak - Cultist Camp

The arakkoa squawked as he lost his footing, stumbling to the ground with a thud. The green rat was more resourceful than he realised. From his prone position, he swiped at Karzix with his axe, imbuing the edge of the blade with elemental wind. ((Windfury Weapon))
Haneed sreeched as the blade sliced into his chest, blood and icy mist slowly spilling from the wound. The owl flew to the branches of a nearby tree, perching with his wings flared as he hissed at the goblin, waiting for an ideal moment to strike again.

Rosaliah, Indigosa, Willowe, and Karma--Cultist Camp

Rose growled as she saw the others beginning to come back for their friends. She was still trying to puzzle out how Kozri had broken free of his mind control in the first place. Shaking her newly healed arm to make sure everything was in place, she aimed an explosive shot for the goblin on top of the draenei hunter's cage. Karma made a move to stand up and help fight, but Rose motioned for the wolf to stay put.

Indi's mind began to wander free again at the sound of combat. It briefly touched Kozri's mind, pleased that the bronze was free of his taint, and then wandered further. Indi gave a small groan in her cage, the efforts from her unknowing mind wandering putting strain on her physical body. Her mind bubbled in happiness as it connected with Zaruuk, forcing an image of her blue dragon self into the male draenei's mind. Help me! she screamed at the draenei, first in draconic then in common. She then fell into a babbling, crying mess, reverting back to draconic and eventually fading back into blackness.

Willowe attempted to heal Faron and Vallrok, but her magic refused to work. Because of her affinity with nature, it was resisting her new found perversion. Attempts to heal were turned black and lifeless. Growling, she tried to root Zaruuk, only to find herself entrapped by thorny vines.

Kozri
Cultist Camp

"Oh, yeah. Distraction. Let the unarmed rogue do the distraction against the bleeding lightning mutt." He muttered under his breath, snarling as Faron bit him, but ducked out of the way of his paw. "Bad dog!" He spat, and angled to try and kick himself away.

Azunara
Cultist Camp

Azunara finally made a choice, and sprang at Kozri, slashing him and giving him a series of smaller cuts that only hurt and bled more. ((Mangle.)) The rogue was starting to look desperate, and he tried to get some room, falling back into a retreat.

((Swift has gone mad with POWER!!!))

Myriana and Swift - Cultist camp

Still floating, the hunter thought she heard someone shout her name. Myri struggled to push back the darkness that engulfed her, but to no avail.

Swift was still bounding around, gleefully chucking fireballs in all directions. One of his fireballs went whizzing past Rose's head, another towards Karzix and Jraak, and several more towards Zaruuk, Faron, and Kozri.

The fox stopped a moment to observe the goblin trying to freeze the lock of Myri's cage. Something about the draenei in the cage kept pulling at the fox. Not quite sure what Glix was up to, but wanting to see the draenei free, Swift hurled another firebolt at the lock of the cage door, shattering it all over Glix and the hunter inside, not that Myri really noticed.

Faron, Cultist Camp

Faron snarled, falling back for a moment. He yelped as a fireball lit his tail on fire and lashed his tail madly to distinguish the flames, snarling. With a glance at Azunara he leapt away, attempting to tackle Zaruuk to the ground before the spell could go off. A little late. The troll turned into a rabbit briefly, but the rabbit quickly turned into an enraged dire-troll-like-being as Faron bulked up and turned dark red. ((Bestial Wrath. That spell randomly lets me get out of fear/poly/etc still, in game, even though I think that was removed.)) The troll shot a trap-bound bolt at Kozri, intending to freeze him solid for a bit.
