I sorta don't understand why I haven't been diagnosed with migraine. The only thing that doesn't fit is the puking and frequenzy thing. Shut of that fucking tv! I never want to grow old.

how often do you get these headaches?

and you say that you vomit when they happen?

as a migraine sufferer, I can tell you that migraines can last for a week or more (even with medication).

and I can also assure you that when I get a bad one, I spend quite a bit of time praising the great porcelain god.
nausea is indeed a symptom of migraines.

you need to try the migraine meds.
if they DON'T work, then you know it's not a migraine.

it could also be something called "cluster headaches", which are only barely less serious than true migraines.

I get migraines but mine never have lasted for a week. I got the meds from my doctor and they are wonderfull!

Let's see. Several times a week, often lasting more than three days at a time.

The vomit thing is the problem, I don't do that. I get nauseaus, but I never throw up.

I just sorta want the meds, because eating regular painkillers makes you immune agains them, and I'm really worn out.

I'm not sure what the norwegian equivalent to cluster headaches would be, but I can google it. It's probably just that though, but hell.

Edit: googled it. It's too rare for it to be that. Not that I do self diagnostications though.

you don't HAVE to do the vomit thing for it to be migraines.

there are so many symptoms for migraines, it's not cut-and-dry, everyone with the same symptoms.

but if you are getting headaches more than once a week (hell, even once a week is serious), then you need to see a neurologist and get this dealt with.

I KNOW mine were migraines, because when the doctor gave me the Imitrex, they went immediately away (the headaches, not the doctors).

Have you noticed any foods that might be triggering the headaches?

For some people, it's sugar. for others chocolate. I think I've heard of people having mushrooms trigger their migraines. There are all sorts of things that could be triggering them.

For some, having coffee (or something containing caffeine) helps the headaches go away. (I'm partial to diet Pepsi for the tiny bit of caffeine. in my case, it just so happens to help).

My brother suffers from migraines (result of food allergies). At their worst, his lasted literally for months with no relief.

I have been to the doctor before though, and he figured it was my eyes, so I got reading glasses. Thing is, it feels like my head is being constricted when wearing anything around my head, glasses/headset etc, so I only use them when in front of the computer. The headache did go away after sleep, but it's back now. It could probably be stress/tense muscles or something like that. I haven't noticed if I get headaches after eating food with specific ingredients like sugar, but I know I shouldn't eat chocolate when having a headache because that could make it worse. I'll try and lay off the sugar for a week now and see what happens.

I dont mind a more open RP...but if its something ongoing, that we are making into a big ongoing /daily event...I really do need to know What, why and where...Structure, direction, goal? Something more then "go where this person goes and learn something" ... I am new to RP I dont know what to do....

Awake with a headache and dissapointed that my cat managed to take down a fly that has been pestering me for a day now only for him to injure it badly enough so its reduced to crawling on walls and instead of eating it or at least killing it so i can pick it up without flipping out, he just sits on my bed and stares at it with much interest. I dont want it keeling over behind my bed dammit cat, why do you kill moths and eat them but injure flies and leave them to crawl.

I am so sick of accidentally setting my friends into hyper-self-hate mode. Damn it, can't I make a comment without people automatically going "OH I SUCK AT EVERYTHING I'M A GIANT FAILURE OH WOE IS FRICKEN ME". I AM JUST SO FRICKEN SICK OF IT SDFGYUIXJJJJJJJJCMKKGTNYYD

I'm feeling sad.. maybe even depressed... I don't want to do anything.. and if I go to bed now I doubt I'll sleep well. I'm lonely.. and in pain.. You don't realize just how alone you are until you're sick.. or injure yourself... I don't have a SINGLE person who would take me to a hospital/clinic.. nobody to make/get me food, or drinks so i can rest my foot and let it heal... Nobody to spend the holidays with.. can't go to my mom's for many reasons.. and sure.. we "did xmas over webcam", but we didn't really... all they cared about was seeing my reaction when I opened their presents.. they didn't let me see them open theirs from each other... nor did we really stay on and chat all day... Nothing to do for new years (got invited to a party.. but I honestly don't think I'll go.. I wanna go to one where like.. there's some drinking but no pressure, rockband, and maybe some board games.. not a freaking frat party kegger type thing :/ Especially not with a busted foot... also.. I feel like it was likely a pity invite by my roomie).

I'm so fucking alone right now... I'm tired of the holidays... I want school to start again.. looks like about a week and a half is all I can do without school, or some kind of structured routine, but I've still got a week left... The only person I've seen since classes ended was my room mate, really... especially the only once I've talked to.. and interaction with her isn't ideal at the moment cause I'm still REALLY pissed off about how she wouldn't give me a ride to the ER...

I really want a hug right now.. And not a digital hug.. I can get lots of those.. I need a REAL hug... a tight one.. I want to feel the pressure like it's squeezing me back together...

I really hate it when people insult something they KNOW you/your friends like. It's like, what the fuck am I supposed to say to you verbally tearing something I enjoy to pieces? People really need to learn some manners. Then again, this person does start fights with everyone constantly...

This happened thanksgiving and I'm still dwelling on it because it's honestly bugging the crap out of me.

I was preparing food for the oven on the stove etc. I had made some cheesecakes and was getting them ready with some other things. Anywho someone walks up to me and says "You'll make someone a good wife some day". Like there's something inherently wrong with a guy doing the cooking. I know this person wasn't joking it's a real asshole thing to say. The reason I'm still dwelling on it I guess is because I'm pretty sure most of my family thinks I'm gay. Kinda bugs me because they're all pretty religious or are really misinformed in such areas. I haven't even really embraced that whole... aspect of my life I'm really confused so I hate the feeling of people watching me and assuming. Basically I really really don't like gender roles. I like to do what I like and wish people would leave me alone about it (in every aspect of life). @_@

Bleh, that's frustrating Moore. And silly. In my family, most of the men cook actually. My uncle's a chef, my step-father's an awesome cook, and even my boyfriend is more of a cook than I am, I can only make pasta. xD He takes care of dinners and a lot of the housework.
