Big bug, it took me around 20 times trying to bond with one of my familiars to even get it..

The familiars glitch is so annoying every day, argh! At least they're aware of it I guess. :/

As for familiars: we’re probably way more frustrated about this one than you are. The issue prior was becoming really bad, because it was possible, in some cases, to bond with the same familiar multiple times in the same day as well as reap the rewards for it. This turned into a major issue when this happened on familiar level-ups, because it produced chests over and over again. To counter this (and widespread exploitation), we had to change the way that this feature operated so that it would only provide rewards if the data was sent, received, and closed out by the server correctly. If any point in the chain was compromised (usually due to traffic and capping out on queries), the site is instructed to fail the attempt entirely, which in turn creates the error window. This is one of our beefier/more inefficient problems, and we are actually meeting this week with Lightsky to discuss overhauling it so that it both doesn’t fail as well as executes more smoothly.

I know that ‘we’re looking into it’ may not have been the answer you wanted to hear, but I’d rather be honest with you, since it is what we’re doing. Thanks for letting me know, and very sorry for the frustration.

It upsets me how useless Akiri seems. All I hear about is how inefficient his coding is/was and how bad the platforms he used is/was and whatnot.

And now they had to hire a team to do it all for him lol. I understand a coding team > person, but I swear it seemed like he broke more than he fixed...and he is the one that coded the site to begin with so the root of most of the issues is with his coding. XD

Sucks.

They'll get lower. Just you wait. Eventually they will go the way of the other breeds with the exceptional few that will continuously go for 1mil such as Ice Imp monochromes :/

People making a sales/trade thread and having a shitton of people talking to them about making a deal BUT LISTS IT ON THE FUCKING AUCTION HOUSE ANYWAYS...it pisses me off.

Someone had a mid/mid/silver female imp that is basically a dream for me and we were trying to work something out but NOPE GOTTA LIST IT STILL CAUSE FUCK TRADING.

Just seriously. Don't make a TRADE thread and get 5-6 people asking you about various trades and sell ito ut from other them.

what really ticks me off with the economy is the lack of ANY kind of response for the games developer/owners.

Nothing nada zip despise the suggestion forum overflowing with threads about the stale economy....

This is starting to get to me as well Tarn. I half expect to see them come out and say 'Yeah we know it's all messed up, but we're just tired of trying to fix it so we're not going to bother.'

Also, why on earth is registration still shutdown? There haven't been real big site issues or slowdowns that I've seen in quite some time. o_O Familiars aside, things seem to be going smooth enough that another window is more than reasonable, if not a full on open door registration.

i fear that too.. that they are not bortherd and the way the economy is ppl will elave the game..
