I'm extremely tired so I'll post a screenshot later but Grand Black War Mammoth dropped tonight and my GM trolled me by rolling and winning.
He traded it to me afterwards but it was so lighthearted and hilarious...my face still hurts from the smiles.

Like... Do you do runs for EVERYTHING in groups every week? Or do you just maybe focus on a few mounts at a time? Do you have a mount-running group? How long do they take to drop?! D:

I don't run everything in groups.
I actually tend to go in with as few people as I possibly can in an instance with people who are ok with the mount being on reserve.

That VoA was the first I've done in a group since the first few runs.
It took: 17, 16, 17, 14 kills [[Each boss can drop it]] before I saw the Mammoth drop.

Kael'thas I lucked out on and I believe I got in on run 13 or 14. Too lazy to flip back pages to check.
EoE drakes were obtained on kill 24 and 25. 25th kill was the first time I saw Blue Drake drop. I saw Azure Drop on kill 1 and 2, losing them back to back.

Stonecore Drake took well over 200 kills and I'm honestly assuming Rivendare took the same. I didn't start tracking until very late into the game and I will still over 80 runs with the counting I thjink. Starting on VP soon.

26 kills of Onyxia with nothing so far. Doing 27 tonight most likely.
Lost track of Midnight with absolutely nothing. Been running it since my low 80's however so it's going to approach a year quicky.

I'm well over 100 Tol'vir solves with no bug mount either.

No idea how many runs it took me for my ZG raptor but I can assume I saw 2 drop in under 80 kills. I was chain-running them non stop as a random and ended up winning the 2nd I saw against 4 others. Also saw a Panther; Lost it. Guild's going back with me to try and farm it.

I may seem lucky but only a few cases. It's mostly hard work combined with some help from your friends. You just need to keep going even if you're hitting the "absurd" mark. Things aren't being handed to me though; We're going to try and farm Flametalon soon and trust me, even though it's my grail, I'm rolling against 6 people for sure in the group.

It's kinda crazy to see you getting so many rare mounts but knowing that you're not exactly handed them. Means you're working hard for what you love though, keep it up!

The toon's name is now actually Schwert and I'm located on Proudmoore. RP servers weren't cutting it for me and I just wasn't roleplaying.
I did get some new mounts recently and I'll be going through and updating the first post with screenshots of mounts and I'll be turning this thread into a way to help my collection help other people.

For now though I'm literally sitting here waiting on a GM ticket.
Finished Shadowmourne last week and Darion did not give me the quest to kill the Lich King. Ended up having to wait till' this week - Got the quest - killed the Lich King...and I couldn't loot my chest off his corpse.

I'm freakin' fuming here. 7 months now and it's done and I don't get my reward?

Needless to say this is freakin' stupid. This stupid shadowmourne has been easily the worst experience I've had in game and it messes up when I'm done too?

I wouldn't have even imagined being in the top /10/ for Proudmoore nor did I even think about where I'd be on Moon Guard as RP servers are full of collectors of all sorts.

I mean, for goodness sake, I just looked through your mount collection on your armory and realised it would be easier to just look through the mounts you *didn't* have yet. |:

I know I don't have craploads right now but I will get there! I am trying.

Also I'm annoyed that the guy who has the most mounts on your new server doesn't even have TLPD, PSD or GRC.

Ditto here, Chao is a 'Cata-baby' as well. (I did have previous characters, but I quit WoW and I wanted a fresh start when I came back.) Slowly but surely indeed! :3
