Def the truth I think with the hair they'll look even better I mean they are just smooth skinned atm they havent really added the fur texture and I especially like the hair styles that were leaked its going to be so hard to choose! I fear i'll be in the barbershop for at least an hour lolEither way, I'll wait until we get some screenshots of female Worgen with hair to judge. But so far, they actually look pretty ferocious in combat.

First hairstyle on my Belf: DO WANT. It looks a lot like my Belf's hair if it were more disheveled. In other words, perfect for RP. The first hairstyle on the third row looks kinda like that one short, spiky Draenei ponytail, so I'm all over that one too. But knowing the Belf stereotypes, I doubt my char would get either. *Emo T.T* My kingdom for more edginess in female Belf hair...Chrizesu wrote:If anyone hasn't seen the hairstyles yet:

Re: Female Worgen Revealed...
I'm sad about how Worgen overall are more like... well.. "furries" in a sense. They're wolf/jackal/fox/dog people given your take on them, almost like lions for the males with mane-like hair, but not WORGEN. They just feel too smooth, tame and watered down I guess. They lost a lot of that bristly, fierce, feral looking edge. There was a reason as to why the old models made people want to play as them. It feels like they've taken that away and kept the name.
I've read reasons as to why other players will justify their "tamer" appearance such as them being more human and having retained their minds unlike other Worgen. The humans that have been cursed up in Grizzly Hills seem to have full control over themselves though, so I wonder if that means they'll get updated models?
I really hope something about them can change my mind at some point! The models are nice ones and I want to like them more, I'm just still disappointed that finally getting Worgen resulted in not exactly Worgen. I think fixing their fangs would be a good start, if at least perhaps similar to how Trolls can choose their tusks, then there's an option of a piece of the original look back. Here's to hoping... :p

Re: Female Worgen Revealed...
Looking at the faces, they come off as more elegant looking to me, which isn't bad at all, as I've heard the starter quests state that our characters are apparently noblemen/women. The worgen are really starting to grow on me. I absolutely love the face, hair, and skin (fur?) choices. I'm quite excited to roll one once Cata comes along!
Also, the hairstyle on that video at 1:22... does it remind anyone else of Doctor Who?

The snout shape definitely still bothers me. It has far too pronounced of a dip from where it slopes under the eyes. I think that overall gives the face an odd look.Bulletdance wrote:I find them really disappointing as well...something about the snouts is off and they eyes too. It's stylized. Wow's always been stylized. People don't seem to understand that it isn't meant to be anatomically in sync with a realistic wolf. Imo, it's got plenty of wolflike features.
Haters gonna hate.

Couldnt have said it better myself RazzyRazzy wrote:It's a worgen, created by Blizzard. It isn't a wolf with its head photoshopped onto a body.
