Rise of the Shadows!

Buzzard turned his head sharply towards the beam of ice, breathing out a plume of flame. The ice melted away. He grinned, then gave Gamin a nod, lunging towards the Vaporeon while she was distracted.
Buzzard uses Dragon Claw!


Scarab nodded. "It appearsss, Ssseventeen, that you wish to take the chancccce. I will not keep you from it. However, be warned that there are rissskss." He nodded at Insins, gesturing at Seventeen and silently telling him to get on with it.

[Senna-Umbreon]

((*Facepalm* Good going there, Phantom XD))

Phantom growled as he clung onto the dragon's tail. Well.. This wasn't going as planned.... Finally, he just let go of Buzzard's tail and dropped, well, was thrown, to the ground. He immediately staggered up, and upon seeing the Mightyena attacking Venin, charged at Gamin.

Phantom used SuperPower!

[Moonlost]

Venin grimaced at the pain, baulking as she saw the Charaptor's razor sharp swinging toward her. She... Melted into water, flowing from Gamin's jaws and spreading flat across the pavement to dodge Buzzard.

Venin used Acid Armour!

Seeing Phantom outside, she glided toward him, wapping over him briefly to pass over her healing effect.

Venin used Baton Pass!

Insins nodded, moving over to his lab to draw another sample of G-Dusk. He... saw a face on the nearby monitor.
"Zyhne?" he asked, adjusting his glasses to make sure he wasn't imagining things. "Hold on, I've got something I need to do first."
He grabbed another syringe then moved back to the cell where he saw Seventeen waiting, bearing her teeth in silent anger. He moved over to her gingerly, taking care not to give ehr the chance to bite him. He then quickly and deftly inserted the needle, injected the syrum, then darted outside and closed the door.

[Lupis]

Seeing Venin in water form, Buzzard let out a huge wave of heat and fire, trying to evaporate her. Hey, it was worth a shot.

Molly's face split into a wide smile. That's so sweet of you! Um, cake mix... She scratched her head. Well, maybe the Pokémon here have something...? It's worth a check, I suppose. She got up and held a hand out toward the little girl, nodding her head at a nearby Sunrise that, if she recalled correctly, helped serve food to the Pokémon. Shall we go see? She waved at the Sunrise Pokémon, trying to catch their attention.

[rubybeam]

Couldn't help but smile. "Just hurry i'm bored deathly bored.."

Earthia nodiced molly "Yeah?"

[Kamalia]

Olivia leaned up against Jaws, watching the newcomers lazily and occasionally glancing curiously over at Molly and some little girl she seemed to be talking with. "Well, Kanmimpi will probably be overjoyed at the presence of all these humans, don't you think? Maybe if this puts her into a good mood she'll finally let us do something." She stretched and yawned to punctuate her bored tone.

Radio had been wandering around the encampment. For some peculiar reason, he had a few pieces of skinny scrap metal clenched in his paws. He stretched his neck up to get a better look, then grinned at the sight of a fairly tall hill. He scrambled up it and jammed one piece of the metal sticks into the ground. His paw became coated in flame as if to begin a Fire Punch, but instead he kept it to a low smolder. Running his hot paws over the metal, he bent and shaped them with great care, attaching pieces together until he finally had a curious tower. He stared proudly up at it, then turned to the Pokémon milling below. "DOES ANYONE HAVE A RADIO?!" He bellowed.

Molly gestured at the little girl beside her. "This little one has become determined to make a cake. Do you know if there's anything she could use to get started?"

[rubybeam]

the pokemon looked at the ampharos for a secound before looking away shaking thier heads in dissapproval until one seemed to stop "m'sorry dear we use chatot's and loudreds"

Earthia smiled "Why don't we ask our cooks rain and demon" frosty immdeatly jumped out of his pouch "Oh they cook the BEST!"

((Urgh, how I wish my scanner were working right now >.> ))

Seventeen felt nothing at first, then she fell to the ground, spasming and snarling. Lightning arced over her body, the number of bolts increasing as her body began to change.
Her body was the first thing to change, growing in size and lengthening slightly. Her chest became wider, more powerfuly muscled. Her tail lengthened, bending at the top to make a lightning bolt shape. Her mane fluffed up, straitening to look not unlike that of a regular manectric before extending in size.
Her fur began to change colour. Her face, chest and both legs turned yellow, leaving only her flanks and tail black. A small, thin black line ran from her eye to halfway down her muzzle, turning down sharply and running to her lower jaw. The fur on her forlegs grew and spiked upward, as did the few tufts on her hind legs, although not to the same extreme.

Seventeen evoled into a Voltectric!

Her evolution done, Seventeen lay snarling and snapping in the center of the room, quivering with pain. Her right eye was still missing, but most of her other wounds seemed closed by the energy the evolution gave her.

Venin darted behind Phantom, hoping his Flash Fire ability remained with his new evolution. She peeked a watery head out to fire a blast of water at Buzzard.

Venin used Water Pulse!

Gamin snarled, hating Venin's ability to just melt like that. He howled to boost his strength and the strength of those nearby.

Gamin used Howl!

Holly grinned and grasped only Molly's hand tightly. "I can make great cake, I think you and your firends will like it!"

[Senna-Umbreon]

((I should prooooobably catch up with my other characters... >.<))

Stormie sighed, staring up at the sky. Okay, sitting around here was boring.... She dropped down to all four paws, then slunk along the ground, heading towards the edge of the camp. Before she could get any farther, though, a voice from behind her spoke, "Stormie? Where are you going?"

She turned to see Hannibal staring at her, "I, um... I'm going to go find Lyell and the others. I'm tired of just sitting here and hoping that they're fine... So, I'm going to go make sure that they're fine!" She explained, turning back and continuing away from the camp.

"But.. Wh-what if those Dusk attack you?" Hannibal asked, scuttling along behind the Kojondo. "I'll fight them off." Stormie replied.

"But... .... I'm coming with you!!"

"What?!"

"I said I'm coming with you!!"

"... Hannibal..... Okay. Let's go."

"Huh, you really ARE stupid! Using a Fire type attack when I'm still around?!" Phantom sneered, easily absorbing the Flamethrower and Heat Wave. "Especially since it even powers me up!!" He grinned, firing a blast of flames at Gamin.

Phantom used Fire Blast!

[Kamalia]

"Wh-" The Ampharos threw his paws up in the air. "You can't listen to music on Loudreds and Chatots! Or ANY radio stations for that matter!" He slumped against his makeshift radio tower dejectedly.

The Gardevoir smiled and tipped her head at Frosty, then looked down at the little girl beside her. It seems like they know someone who could help. And yes, I'm sure that it'll be delicious. Molly told Holly cheerfully, then looked back up at Earthia. "Oh, good! Could you tell us where to go to see them?"

[Lupis]

Buzzard shrugged. "Depends on how you think about it. I'm not going to want to fight some chunk of meat that can't even fight back. Now I get some practice."
He was hit by Venin's attack, but Gamin's Howl pushed away the pain. He lunged at the distracted Phantom, lashing out with shadowy swiftness.

Venin darted around Phantom, firing another blast of water at the Charaptor.

Venin used Water Pulse!

Before she could do more, she was attacked by a blast of shadow. She reformed briefly to try and migtate the damage, snarling from the pain.

Gamin used Shadow Ball!

"You're fight's wit' the Hounds, traitor!" Gamin snarled.
"Oh please," Venin responded. "You couldn't fight your way out of a brown paper bag Pup. Go skadle back to Seventeen and hide behind her."
Gamin roared, leaping at the Vaporeon.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Stormie and Hannibal kept walking, eventually reaching the clearing where they had last seen their teammates. "I can even still smell their scent..." Said Stormie as she sniffed the ground, "They better be okay..."

"Um.. Stormie..?"

"What is it Hannibal?"

"..... I think there's something out there..." The spider said, pointing at some bushes at the edge of the clearing.

Stormie stood up, staring at where Hannibal had pointed, "..... Do you think it's the Dusk?"

Hannibal nodded.

"Crap..."

((Anyone who has some Dawn characters.. Feel free to have some of them follow Hannibal and Stormie. Something tells me they may have trouble surviving what I'm planning for them >.<))

Phantom growled, leaping at Gamin, barely avoiding Buzzard's attack in the process, and slammed into the Mightyena.

Buzzard charged at Phantom, aiming to throw him into the wall with his horns.

[Moonlost]

Gamin yelped att he attack, surprised at the power of it. Damn him! He slammed into a nearby wall,slidign down to the ground before staggering to his feet. With another snarl, he charged at Phantom, jaws open wide.

Gamin used Super Fang!

Venin, suddenly unnoticed by her duck attackers, slided infront of Buzzard and summoned a swirling vortex of water infront of him.

Venin used Whirlpool!

Insins watched the evolution curiously, interested to note that, unlike regular evolution, his new induced one seemed to heal the wounds sustained prior to the evolution. Or it may jsut have been a fluke this time.
He moved out the observing toom, back to the lab and Zyhne's face on the screen.
"How the hell did you survive the attack?" He asked, caring nothing for tact or manners.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Phantom grinned at Venin, then turned and fired a blast of flames at the charging Gamin.

Phantom used Fire Blast!

[Moonlost]

Venin grinned back. "How fast ya feeling Fuzzy?" She asked.

Gamin yelped as he got a mouthful of fire, staggering back and spitting. Damn, this wasn't going so well. He wasn't about to give up though, he'd die before quitting. He darted forward again, a little more mindful of Phantom's attacks, using speed to his advantage.

Gamin used Sucker Punch!

Phantom grinned wickedly as Gamin darted towards him, leaping out of the way at the last second and then charging at the Mightyena again.

((Hey, at least you know WHAT Gamin can use.. I'm still struggling here with trying to figure out what Phantom can use now that he's a Smoldereon >.<))

[Kamalia]

"Yup, it's Dusk. Ooh, um, uh don't freak out! It's just me!" A voice piped up. Julius pulled himself out of the bushes to reveal himself to Brainstorm and Hannibal. "I was, um, wondering where you guys were going, so I um... followed you..." He coughed and looked down. "Um... do you... need help with anything? If not, I can just, uh, head back." He scuffled at the ground with a paw.

Before Earthia could respond, Molly lifted her head as a scent wafted by. She inhaled deeply. Whatever it was certainly smelled delicious. "Actually, I think we can find them ourselves by following our noses. Thank you for the help, though!" The Gardevoir waved goodbye and tugged Holly along with her as she tried to figure out which building the scent was coming from.
