He's gonna be based off a second possible Umbreon to raise, the issue being... I HATE HAPPINESS. DX I love Umbreon dearly, but boosting a Eevees happiness to full is the only downside... X( I dun like it. Maybe I'll see if I can AR it or something from a friend.

I dunno where my fave pokemon sits on the usage scale, but I really loves my Flygon :3

I really should train up my latest team, I got them all ready, right natures/personalities, just need to train them up...but between my taming spree in WoW and my B&w games, I havent picked up my Platinum or SS/HG games in awhile.

Still kicking myself for deleting my White game... /bangs head on wall.

Well..I did breed alot of eevee(none of them are female by the way azu) I have to agreee I HATE HAPPYINESS! Iguess i'll just be walking around with my two freshly hatched eevee's alot maybe give them hair cuts and a soothe bell each :/

I'm a fan of old-school Pokemon. That is to say, I loved Red/Blue/Yellow and I was very fond of Gold/Silver. After that, I think they've just been playing off the franchise's popularity. The pokemon keep getting uglier and uglier and resemble animals less and less and sculptures more and more.

I picked up a used copy of Sapphire over winter break at my room-mate's encouragement. It's okay, and I do enjoy some of the new pokemon in that one, but more and more of them are just so...unlikeable.

take pearl/diamond as example (you need pokemon from fireRed/LeafGreen (cant trade from red/blue -_-) and also sapphire and ruby, emerald I believe)

Ah but i certainly have fond memories of red tho you couldn't find the game for ages since it was always out of sale but the blue one was available . and you got a walktrough with it with stickers so you keep a track of which pokemons you had XD

I also agree with the pokemons from the newer series some of them really don't make any sense and some look fugly like hell.

I previously felt the same way about a number of 3rd gen onwards Pokemon myself. But, upon the discovery of an exceedingly awesome article over at Bulbapedia, I find myself admiring the choices that gamefreak has made with many of their newer Pokemon. Sure, there are plenty I don't like for personal taste reasons, but I actively hate very few.
The article is called The Origin of Species, take a look when you can, it's really interesting stuff.

As for the older games... Yeah, I gotta admit, The ole Red and Blue will always have a place in my heart. And Gold still remains my favourite of the game series. But I still enjoy the latest games to be brought out, and I suspect I always will. Nostalgia is pretty powerful and nothign will top those memories of runnign arround and discovering pokemon for the first time, but it's also really interesting to see what they think of next.

One: I have an old red and an old blue...And an old gold and silver, both of which can't save...

Two: I love my male umbreon, Zerak, who also appeared in the RP...Ironically, Sol's brother in the RP, but in-game, he's her dad. Essentially, while I was breeding to get a female eevee, Zerak was my first eevee. Stuck him in the daycare for the course of the game along with my ditto, and eventually, I got my Sol. Now, I decide I want an umbreon...So after getting a nearly hatched egg hatched, I remember Zer...

He was level 45, higher than my low 40's pokemon.

Oooh. I love the eeveelotions too. Funny story, really. Pokemon Colloseum was the one game I loved, but only saw it in a video game store and tried it out. Never got around to buying it. But what sold it was the espeon/umbreon pair. That really kicked off my love for those two. I've always loved them. Ironically why when we struck up a pokemon RP, I decided to make a pair of them. (Whose names were never planned. Shadwyn is a name I've recycled, and Solara came up on the spot. Ironically, Sol = sun...Espeon is a sun pokemon. Silly subconscious never told me this till later.)

So yeah. I've always loved the eevelotions, but I also really like the Charmander line, Gastly line (Speeeeck! <3), Articuno, Dialga (Cro! <3), Skarmory, and the tailow line. Also really like the pidgey and starly line...

In other news: I've neglected my SS, and I recently reset my Diamond. Team is, last time I checked:

... Err, ahem. Yeah. I love the Eeveelutions, if you couldn't tell. I even have my own 'family' of them in my games (And they've shown up in the RP too! XD)

Ghost-Umbreon (My favourite. She's my strongest of them and of my main team. Sure, her name isn't too.. Creative, but it's an odd name for an Umbreon, and there's a damn good reason for it! ... Not gonna bother explaining it though lol)-... Serious.. Nature? (Um. NO. She is NOT serious. Not serious WHATSOEVER XD)

Phantom-Flareon (I love this guy too. He's pretty darn awesome. .. He's a jerk story-wise, but oh well <3 And again, there's a reason for his name. .. Not gonna bother with it either XD)-Brave nature (Should've been Adamant >.> XD)

Butterfly-Espeon (Yay, finally a name I can easily explain! .. Kinda. I named her that because of her ears. Why? Because they remind me of a dog breed who's name I cannot remember but means 'butterfly' or something like that. Due to, well, their ears, which look like.. Butterfly wings. Hence my Espeon's name. .. That took longer than I thought XD)-Modest nature (Yay, at least one of them has a nature that suits her story-wise too!)

Streak-Jolteon (Her name is cause she's so fast. She streaks everywhere! XD)-Uhh.... .... ... I can't remember her nature. It WAS supposed to be Rash, but I had to go with something else due to needing Hidden Power Water >.<

Paris-Leafeon (Aaaand I can't remember the reason for his name. ... Yes, Paris is male XD)-Quirky nature (Suits him SO well XD)

Dory-Vaporeon (Anyone who has seen the movie Finding Nemo would know why I named her this XD)-... Buhh... Again I can't remember her nature XD

Mercury-Glaceon (And I can't rememeber the reason for his name either!! XD)-Quiet nature (Which suits him very well <3)

Rale-Eevee (YUS I INCLUDE EEVEE X3 And.. I cannot remember the reason for his name either)-Supposed to be Naive. I can't remember if it is, though.

But to add something to make this post a bit on-topic, my team for Diamond is now somewhere in their thirties. Haven't played in a while. >_> Also, I'm a bit stuck now on what starter to choose first for B/W... I love Tepig (Not to mention his Ganondorf-esk final evolution), but I'm really starting to warm up now to Daikenki. At first I didn't like them one bit, but they've grown on me. Plus I found a great name for her: Selkie. Neat little backstory relevant to Daikenki's appearance, plus I've absolutely fallen in love with the idea of Selkies thanks to the beautiful drawings done by this artist (mild warning for one picture with buttz if anyone's extremely sensitive).

Aha! That's what they were called! I actually used to ride a horse who was named Papillon due to his ears being all butterfly-like. He was also rather crazy and springy. Basically, he was the horse version of the dogs XD

Gah!!! Winters here!! must power through White and get to route 6!!! I wants my winter dex for my Deer pokemon! then power lv it to evolve it for the stag winter dex!

Been a bit pulled into Wow atm, getting my "ghost wolf" and sword-in-head wolf, void hawk, and anything else interesting that Griff and those other seekers are finding!

white team atm has all 3 starters at lv 23, polarbear cub at 22, and a disused hm slave chipmunk and pigeon

Yay! Got to route 6 and got a male and female Named them Gazer and star respectivly. Gazer will be sent to my White game. Sadly the shiny is being very elusive! But still I am running in circles to find it and getting quite the collection of jewels from swirling dust!
Winter is a nice touch in the game, a coat of snow over everything, and some areas have nice big snowflakes drifting around.
The Electric boss gave me a very hard time and it took me several tries to beat her, I ended up nabing a and and taught them both Dig, and just spammed that...after my & where knocked out. I was having a rough day!

Waiting for the 17th to come around to see what in the Mystery egg wi-fi event! If its the elemental monkies again, I will be disapointed. They are the only pokemon of the 5th gen that I am starting to get bored with. the Rattata's of the trainer world.

Of course though in a few days pokemon will be far from my mind for a bit as Cataclysm bursts forth to consume me!! Best part is, the hubby's on a 2week stress leave from work and has agreed to Watch our Baby for the first 2days!! First order of business, WORGEN!!!

Gonna miss his awesome immunities (Grass thanks to his ability, and Ghost thanks to him being half Normal type.) but oh well....

*EDIT* >.> Apparently, I can't settle on a new Pokemon. As much as I love Erufuun... I just don't think it really works for my team. ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHH >.<

... Hah, this is quite funny. I was just about to come here and mention all that news about Zoroark and blah and be like 'MWAHAHAHAH! TOO SLOW MAGNA!' .... and then the SECOND I got to the thread, you happened to post that... DARN YOU AND YOUR NINJA-POSTING!!! XD

ANYWHOOOOOOOOOOOO~! I actually did finally find a new Pokemon for my Black and White team.. Never got around to finally updating my post about that. My new team member is... Terrakion! Not surprising as I adore him and his trio/quartet, and well.. He's my favourite out of all of them XD

Funny how Terrakion and my Raikou, Pan, are so similar. Both are stubborn, hot-headed jerks who call people names to tease them. And both are my favourite out of their Legendary Trio... Not to mention both are members of my main team for their region!!

Also.. Another thing that I noticed is that.. My Johto team (You know, Ghost's team!) has two Dark types on it... A pure Dark type (Ghost~! <3 ... Okay, she's not a pure Dark type story-wise, but in-game she is XD) and a Rock/Dark type (Physis, my Tyranitar~! <3) and my Unova team (Lyell's team, of course!) has two Fighting types.. A pure Fighting type (Stormie!) and a Rock/Fighting type (TERRAKION~!! <3 <3 <3) .... I just kinda found that weird XD
