Thanks for the advice. :3 I'm currently trying to help gear up his hunter cause he only hit 85 a few weeks ago and my iLvl is 383 at the moment though, still trying to grab a few pieces of gear from the raid finder before I'm done, since I don't bother doing proper raids and stuff. Do you think then that, if we both feign death when the whelps and add come, that'll work? Does it make them just go back to the sides/top where they came from? And what about your pet? I'm assuming you can't dismiss it cause you'll lose aggro off Onyxia and she'll reset. (Sorry for all the questions. xD)
The FD trick is to hit the button as Ony runs to the cave entrance (this is where she takes off into the air). As the whelps come from down the sides and the big add from the corridor outside, they will run bk as u drop aggro by hitting FD.
With ur pet u have to use the 'position' button to stick him/her as close to the bk wall as possible (on passive too but make the pet attack Ony to get aggro) - for some strange reason (prolly the distance) the adds and whelps dont notice ur pet and ignore their presence all together! The first 2-3 mins will be really awkward as u try and get ur pet into place, but after that its happy days Just don't change the pet from passive or make them attack Ony until shes on top of them at the back wall of the cave - use FD and Misdirect to get her back onto ur pet at the back wall :3

It does sound a lot like a video guide for it I once watched of a hunter soloing it, he moved his pet right back as far as he could and he was using feign death at all the right moments and stuff. So last night was raid night with the guild in 10 man DS.
After having some guild drama pre-kick off (I don't get how some people have the time and energy to cause a stir :/), we proceeded from the beginning of DS.
Bosses went down nicely! Only 3 wipes on the night!
Zonozzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - we had to bring along a pugger for dps (an ex guildie) and he didn't know to move out of the melee group xD
Ultraxion - same pugger didn't hit the button right and we didn't quiet have enough dps xD
Warmaster - 1st go ever we didn't quite master the 'save the gunship from being blown up' bit BUT we downed him the second time so well!!!
Remember, that there just over half the raid team have only 2-3 months DS experience raiding once every couple of weeks or so!
I almost rage quitted last night cos the drama, but I'm so glad I held out because it turned out to be one of the most fun and successful nights AI has ever had And the catalyst of the drama had to re-consider what had been said etc at the end of the night.
I play the game for myself, not for my own gratification. I choose who I want to play with and why. I will never abandon REAL friends or family to bolster my own position or gear score. Problem? Then I think you know what ya gotta do...BUT don't offer me as a prize. No one has the right to get anyone a position in a guild without their knowledge...and theres something wrong if you think you can lure me with you as the boss is pulled - perhaps you thought I wouldn't object since I should be concentrating on the game - well I do. SORRY. And if u think I'd join a guild like the one in question then u don't know me. BAI BAI!

Oh right, the 500g thing? It's more for the transmog market on our realm that's just boomed since February..I've actually just posted a lot of rare greens on the AH to raise some money for myself cause I'm broke as hale!
If you were to realm transfer here and you needed gear for leveling, the guild and myself would help you out Despite the AH prices it's a decent realm, average population with a bunch of rich mofos xD

I've peeved at the invite more than pleased! I'm an officer at AI and I love the guild to death - they really do feel more like family than friends Who in their right mind would wanna jump to another guild just cos they down bosses faster? We have relaxed, fun and successful raiding - the high end guilds are usually rage quitting and raging at one another in general chat when in DS - who would want that stress and drama o_o What's fun about slaggin one another off and sweating about whether ur mashing buttons fast enough? :<
ugh, off to queue RF me thinks xD still need that ring dammit -.-"

Exactly, casual raiding with friends is the way to go. I hate hate hard core raiding guilds, you can see their poison leak into trade chat sometimes.
An old alliance guild transferred to horde this winter and they just flooded normal chat with ''cunts'' and were abusive and vile. I get along with two members from that guild..and the rest can suck it with their trying to taunt me in /1 with ''herpes'' and shit. I don't play for that, I play to have fun..so I left /1 on all of my characters. Just vile human beings.. that's why I stay cause without PLS and a handful of other guilds the game would be taken over by the shito's.. :S

That's one thing about KT that's good - theres only about 4-5 ppl that are notorious scum on the server...but that might be because its a dead server >_<
I know the feeling, my boyfriends wow guildies that I've known for 5 years now...hes known them for 10 or so. Some of them can be super derpy and it gets a little frustrating but overall we huff it through things.
We decided not to raid this xpac because of how punishing its been and we can't fill out the raids with our own people as some have quit/moved on by now. Don't want to deal with mouthy jerks who can't be patient for those that need a smidge more time to learn fights etc.
But! Its better than raiding with a lot of hardcores. My lock is actually in one of the ex-hardcore alliance guilds on my server.(Totes leeching them for guild items haha, woo mini tarecegosa!) They still do 25ms and have been trying to recruit more people for better progress but they're a little behind on the progress (2/8hm i think?) because of people that have quit/dont show up all the time. (Sadly I only go with them on occasion because they raid so late!)
Whatevs, there's a good(fun) core group in the guild and they lose people that are all impatient over progession. IMO its who you play with, not what you down each week.

Pew pew'd Onyxia with my brother for mount + Sword...
Yup, Hope was tanking Ony whilst my bro held his own against the adds Scooter wasn't much use as usual
His sword finally dropped (gz bro!) but no mount
Then we went and finished BWL for his shield - another no lucker
Got this epic SS of Neffy though! U mad Nef?!
Off to EoE next for a chance at both mounts - just us again but nothing
Also took this last week when I finally got my Kingslayer title I joined a 25 man hc group for Lich King only, but even though there were 20 of us no one could get organised so we did it on norm instead
Having a crap time on WoW atm.
Lost our raid leader - the night we cleared the most bosses the most successfully...

Zak is 11 and would defo be a warrior tank if he played WoW He takes on anything, buses, lorries, postmen - nothing is too big or scary for him :3
Jaffa is 9 and totally utterly crazy! He would defo be a druid - he loves nature, being outside and furry things Though I think he'd be one of them players that aggros everything by accident xD
Just thought I'd spam some shiz in here - been a while since I've posted - got sick of being mod slapped for trying to defuse situations and give useful advise -.-
WoW went shit for a bit (ha ha) due to the ever escalating guild drama. Finally reached boiling point and off marched 80% of the raid team (who were either RL mates with one another or only in cos they were mates with someone etc). Arcana Imperii now no longer raids, trying to warp the guild into something serious ripped the heart out of it, what makes me sad is that promises were made not to let this happen...yet it did
Wanna say I'm proud. Sadly I ain't, the guild was at its best when the old guard were around having fun - instead the newbies tore it down.

Oh, and I'm up to 7 Skyshards, but since 5.2 I'm having problems with them dropping from the tricksters - up to 2k total kills and last time I saw one was 500 kills in.......serious bad RNG or its been nerfed!
