now only to find out the minimum JC crafting level for the JC mount and the requirements to get that recipe.
I liked cow's idea tho having different colors coming from different places (archeology, vendor, rep, rare world drop, raid/dungeon drops)
But somehow I am having the nagging feeling it will come from Archeology like the sand dragon :S

but yea this is definitely changing my plans. Seems I have to make sure my mining is up to date on my druid alt.
and spend at least the first couple of hours after release mining like crazy XD

Yea i noticed that, i think he hasnt been exersizing his mount enough, he looks a little on the chubby side In all reality, their width is way too large for current models mounted emotes. And the upper back is way too high for the emote as well which is why his legs and hands look like they're being absorbed (i cant help but think back to Inuyasha where a demon pretending to be his mother tries to absorb him into her chest)

So... it looks like you have to create all the other colours and then create the black one from them like Voltron??

The "something expensive" placeholder currently has a value of 25000 gold. If the final value is anything like that it'll cost 500k to get to the black one. I hope it's currently a gross overexaggeration.

It does seem rather unclear but I really hope that this is a rough example. There's no way on earth I will ever be able to afford a mount that's 500k. :/

I don't have anything against the flying panther mount, but I don't see what would make players use it as that much of a gold sink. I actually prefer the winged guardian mount.

If its a vendor item like they used for the vial of the sands...(vial had 29k in vendor mats) then you'll still have to pay. Just not to other people. @_@

Well thats better than paying to other people. Would be less as my guilds got that discount thingy but not by much. Not like gold anit easy to come by nowadays bound to be even easyer in the next expack.

I didn't see this in mentioned on MMO-Champ, but the new patch file contains the first glimpse of a "goblin glider":





Despite the skin being called "GoblinHangGlider", it doesn't seem like players will actually hang from it. When I mounted a character on one, it sat him on what looks to be a very deliberate seat:



Keep in mind that this seems to be the first instance of the model, so it may change yet.

Hmm... so will this be a new engineering mount? The first racial flying mount? Something else? I wonder

I hate to be pessimistic, because I like the look of it, but my best guess is that it's either an npc vehicle or for a vehicle quest.

Possible! I guess we'll see soon. I'm assuming they decided to create it because they could just re-use the new kite mount mechanics (just speculating on that part, I haven't checked if they're the same).
