And looking at those, now I realize what's bugged me about the models. The receding hairlines that they have, and the lack of ears.

Ughhh why did beta have to come back up just as I get to work.

I need to see them for myself when I get home. From what I can see so far, it's definitely better than the cat. I'm glad the head is held upright again...still not as fond of it as I was of the dog though. The front paw in the walk animation looks like it stretches weirdly, and the back paw kicks backward in an odd manner.

Mia, could you do some gifs and/or pictures of the stone skin? I'm curious about how the statue ones look.

Beta servers aren't up for me. I have to see this in game to tell if I like it. The walk looks like the front legs swing out and around. Kinda weird!

I too will have to see it in game and hope it's better there... there are just some small details though that are really bothering me >_< Like how their mouths close TOO much in the idle animations. >_< They also dont have standing out whispers anymore Or tiny teeths. D: No bouncing ears either. T-T

Yeah, that model seems a good choice. Any of them are going to have some quibbles. I just wish there wasn't the receding hairline. Good thing I won't be seeing that side too often.

If those become tameable, yep. Slick is a miner/engineer, so that would make sense.

Yup, this is the gryphon mount/winged lion mount skeleton and animations. Neither of those have attack animations so that's why they don't have any yet.

Seems like a useful sort of thing for them to do in general - I'd imagine this could be applied to other things as well once it can attack.
