Summary: I'm done lurking here! Like a lot of hunters, I have a collecting addiction. I have 113 mounts and 108 pets on Zenali, and I'm working on getting Kassidi up there also. I pressure hunters in my guilds to use something other than a cat once in a while (cats are a pet peeve?), and have been looking since Cata release for Madexx, the grey camel, and Aeonaxx. And I would sell my soul for Time Lost Proto-Drake. I'm trying to get my drawing skills back up to par, so I'll probably try to scribble some pets and post them here. =D

I'm a sophomore in high school and an active member of marching and jazz band. The most fascinating person in the world to me is Trent Reznor. I can't explain why, but I watch his interviews and backstage footage every chance I get - any time I get to hear him speak. I think he's a visionary and one of the greatest musical geniuses of our time. Other favorites of mine are Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash, and Alizée. My favorite video games are WoW, Silent Hill 2 and 3, and Tomb Raider - Lara Croft has been a big hero of mine since I can remember. I have a pet cat irl, Skittles, who has been my best friend since I was eight years old. Summary: Current main is a holy pally with main alt being a blood dk (Toushiro) with 3 other 85's but finally got around to leveling a hunter for fun. I must admit I can definitely see the appeal to those that enjoy playing a hunter and gathering the various pets (it does get quite addicting I must say). Will probably make my hunter my primary dps toon over my current warlock or enhancement shaman as it is a blast to play and I get to provide a lot of buff flexiblity to my raid through use of all my pets. For random crap about me, I'm a bit of a slacker but also enjoy photography and am a salsa dancer (met my lovely gf through dancing )

I am an old school D&D player who was completely attracted to how WoW was , being based loosely on it. I have always enjoyed playing a ranger in D&D so to me a hunter was the natural connection. I have been playing WoW on and off for nearly 4 yrs now . Being a single father of 4 does tend to have ones attention drawn away from the game often. I enjoy the "hunt" and tame of rares that is offered in this game. I was really glad to find this site , its been a huge asset in going after the rares that I have been searching for.

As you can see above I have far too many characters, and the ones I listed are just the hunters. Several of them are just ideas I came up with and couldn't let go of. I have been coming to petopia for a long time, planning all my tames before I even start leveling the character. I have been trying to RP, though I have a lot of trouble approaching people and tend to freeze up when I get whispered asking if I would like to RP. Lol I guess I'm just an anxious person like that. So I've really been focused on reading up on lore, and thinking up backgrounds and personalities of all my chars. I'm still really a newbie when it comes to WoW, a lot of the time I have trouble figuring out the best gear for my chars, and I'm still really "clumsy" when it comes to dungeons and raids, but I'm working on it.

Summary: Hi ya'll, joined these forums mainly to comment and make signatures for myself and have somewhere besides my guild forums to show it off I'm a nerdy 23 American gal living in the UK. Met my husband on another MMORPG and after a week of meeting in real life, we fell in love and married in Manchester three years ago. Prior to WOW I was all about the Paladin, from early D&D through EQII but when WOW came out I created Calidain, an Orc hunter and I've never worn plate armor again!!! Hello! I'm Matt, better known online as Morven (my whole name is incredibly common, so when it came time to pick an online ID even in 1991 it was already taken; so I used the name of a character in a story I was writing, and it stuck). I've been playing WoW since Lich King was new, so I'm neither a newbie nor an old hand, but somewhat in the middle.

My hunter was my first character, is my only 85, and is my most commonly played. She's currently in mostly Season 9 PVP epics. My favorite activity in the game is battlegrounding, and I'm finally geared enough to do pretty well at 85. I'm generally in the top three for damage and kills, and Anevka is a great help there. My secondary interests in the game are collecting achievements, companions, and recently started on collecting pets once I realized that Cata let you keep more pets than you used to. I occasionally do pick-up dungeons but it's not a great interest of mine.

Outside of WoW, I'm a computer professional at a university, I am a moderator on TV Tropes (tvtropes.com), and a former arbitrator on Wikipedia (served out my term, burned out, and not going back!)

I absolutely LOVE the hunter class. From day one, I've had a hunter of some level. I am currently working on my second, Daxx, and I am having a blast. I love the challange of finding rare spawns and the rush of taming. To be honest, I am mostly in it for the pets, but have really fallen in love with the hunter community. It's amazing how easily we fall into a friendship with one another so easily, tossing stories back and forth, comparing pet names.

How long I've been playing: For a few years by now i guess.

-i got into playing WoW because of my husband. He played it quiet a bit and thought it would be great if we could play together. Well after starting a trial account and trying to play with the mouse and keyboard and coming really close to having a seizure i gave up....but my husband did not. He persisted that there had to be a way for me to play and he would not stop until he found it. And well i am glad he did

I now play WoW extensively with and X box controller and am proud to say that i can hold my own in a DPS race with out having to worry about having a seizure or any spasms.

How long I've been playing: Uh, played Vanilla, then hadn't the money to continue. Played a little bit of Wrath, but the account got ended, and just stared playing again with the onset of Cata. Hopefully staying for good this time, lol.
Favorite thing to do in game: Hunt rares, be they pets, mounts, or vanity pets.

I love to spend time with my guildies, and planning out new things for us to do. Whether we're running dungeons or doing BGs just for kicks. Spend most my time questing and just enjoying the different people you can "meet" in game. I keep pretty much to myself, as an very introverted person, but this has helped me out with becoming slightly more social. I like being a "provider". Huh, you're looking for this? Go there. You need this, let's see what I can find.

I just am glad I started playing again, gave me a good chance to reconnect with old friends. Also, there's nothing better than a couple that sits on two computers paying WoW together. ^.^
