Buzzard managed to think in roughly coherent thoughts. We've lost, he echoed. Only the virus... We have Scarab. He clung to that thought, gritting his teeth. We have a leader...

((Sorry Buzzard... All hope's gone for you, bud. ))

Chomp slipped past the venusaur and charged towards Scarab.

((:S Hmm, gotta do something...))

Seventeen tried desperately to cling to who she was. She couldn't go back to that weak little Electrike, never again!. A desperate attempt to cling to the rapidly disappearing voices, Seventeen lashed out at Rust.

Seventeen used Thunder Fang!

[Lupis]

Scarab turned to look at Chomp, his eyes distant. The voices were hopeless. It was going to be destroyed. All of it. And the rest of the once-Dusk, the loyal ones, didn't even know it was going to happen...
A few loyal Fighting types stepped in front of Chomp to stop him, vengeance sparkling in their eyes.

Finally the last two types were called

a horse mermaid spoke up "What ties land to land, the element thats forever young"

Finally a stang human octupus totem thingie spoke "What we use to walk on what we call home"

Chomp hissed at the Fighting types, ready to fight.

[Lupis]

The voices knew it was coming. It had to come. And with it...
Scarab's eyes flashed with a mixture of fear, relief and pain. The voices, the driving minds that kept his body running, faded. Whereas most Dusk had normal minds to take over, his had died long ago... It lay dead not far away, its blood still on his scythes. With nothing driving him, the organs that kept him alive simply... stopped.
Scarab collapsed, life quickly fading from his eyes until they simply stared into space, into what could have been.
Scarab has died.

The Dusk screamed.
The virus no longer controlled them, but loyalty had.. and they could feel his death. The Virus had just been that - a virus. It hadn't meant that much. It couldn't mean that much. But their leader. What had rallied them and changed them from mindless to thoughtful, killers to revolutionaries... He was dead. And with him, the goal was dead.
Chaos broke out among them as this fact sunk in. Revenge was impossible. The drive was gone. What could they do but run?

Buzzard froze, falling back a few steps. "No," he said simply. "Scarab... NO." Ignoring Baaz completely, he roared in anguish. It was over. It was dead. They had lost. There was no hope now. SCARAB! he roared in the mind link, not caring who heard.

The fighting types stopped, then turned to Scarab's lifeless body. Stunned, they just stood and stared, forgetting Chomp completely.

((...*Sniff*...))

Chomp stopped growling and stared at Scarab's body in shock.

((You were amazing, Scarab. The Dusk will never forget you, nor will the Dusk ever be forgotten. R.I.P.))

Solara gave a cry as well, afraid and panicked. They were doomed. They were as good as dead. The Dusk had fallen. Solara looked around at the chaos, the stunned, fleeing, fighting Dusk. The remnants of a once powerful force...

It was over, and now they were at the mercy of Dawn and Sunrise.

[Senna-Umbreon]

((*Cheers* Go Seventeen! .... ........ *Gets mauled by Ghost* >.<))

Rust squeaked, desperately trying to keep his forcefield up. He couldn't let it break! This big mean thing was trying to hurt his parents! He couldn't let that happen! No matter what!!!! He let out a squeaky growl, a bright light appearing around him. He blinked, confused at to what was happening, but tried to ignore it in favour of keeping the forcefield from breaking.

A burst of white light suddenly envolped the Cranievee. His body started growing from its small Eevee-like stature to one that was almost the size of his mother. His tail grew longer, turning more reptilian-like, but keeping its fox-like shape for the most part and it had two blue rings on it, one larger one in the middle of it and one smaller one at the end. His pelt turned from brown to grey, with a few blue Umbreon-like rings on it. His brown Eevee ears turned bright white, with blue rings on them too, their shape now resembling horns rather than ears. The small horns on the side of his head disappeared, while the ones of the top grew slightly, and his forehead grew slightly too.

Rust evolved into Rampardeon!

The light then disappeared, leaving the grey and blue Pokemon in the Cranievee's place. He blinked his reddish-pink eyes, looking down on himself. What in the world had happened?!

Chomp backed away slowly, then turned and ran back.

He stood at Rikki's side, silent.

Iron's jaw dropped as he watched the evolution.

Delora felt her tail wagging gently as she looked at what remained of both sides of the war. "So many are gone now...I can't believe it..." She glanced at the Blightmare and frowned before she padded over to him and gave him a tiny nudge. "You can stay with us if you like...until you figure out what to do.."

Shia glanced over at Chidori, who seemed about to fall over. He gave her a thumbs up and then...fell asleep, falling onto his stomach. Shia sighed as she closed her own eyes, hearing a small twitter above her. She glanced up and smiled, watching Star come to land on her back. She looked at Rust as he evolved, blinking a few times. Well then...hmm...he was still cute at least! Kid had that going for him!

Kyuu placed her paw on Mewtwo's chest, sealing up the hole and feeling a bit relieved that it didn't knock her out to do so. She sighed and sat beside him, tail curling around herself as she simply watched the others, trying to figure out what to do.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost blinked, "He... Evolved...?" She said, staring at her son in disbelief.

Rust kept blinking, still confused. After a few moments though, he looked back up at Seventeen, continuing to keep the forcefield up.

[Moonlost]

Venin growled, her fur standing on edge. The voices in her mind were screeching in... terror? That made no-
As suddenly as she thought about it, they were ripped from her mind. Her fur changed colours from the sickly blue-green back to the blue, although a little more aqua colour than that of a normal Vaporeon. Her eyes changed from red to brown.
She stood, back arched, blinking at the fact the familiar voices were gone, leaving an empty hollow where they once were.

Seventeen recoiled back, whimpering and sobbing as she curled in on herself. She was gone. Everything she was was gone.
"SEVEN!" Gamin roared, jumping next to her, whining and nuzzling.

Chomp looked at Rikki, "He's dead....Scarab's dead....."

The crystals gave one last union speech before dissappering "Now our goal is complete, fear not dusks your not going to die or feel any new pain, the suffering, separation and bloodshed will be over, but not quite yet for it is now up to the various pokemon to decide what would happen to this world we did our part now its yours, to take thats earths last light and heal it"

[Senna-Umbreon]

Phantom blinked, for the first time really noticing the Voices. They screeched, then just... Disappeared. The heck? He just stood there, slightly confused. What made him even more confused was the fact that Venin looked like a normal Vaporeon. He walked up to her, "...... Unless I'm going insane or something.. I'd say that we've been cured. Or.. Something."

((XD Phantom is so funny at times. And yeah.. Despite being evolved, I totally imagine him not paying attention to the Voices WHATSOEVER lol))

Rikki breathed a sigh of relief, "Then... It's over... It's finally over."

Chomp gave Rikki a tight hug, "We made it...."

Deoxys felt something, "Mewtwo..."

Terra squeaked and then giggled, shaking himself off. He hadn't done much when he had been cured, just blinked and watched everyone else. Now however he was rather happy. He had evolved And now he was back to normal. "This can't get any better!"

Rayge let out a sigh of relief before he glanced up at Arachne. "Are you comfortable up there dear?"
Lira blinked and looked at Rayge, eyebrow raised. Dear? Oh boy.

Delora blinked as she looked at Deoxys. "Pardon?"

Deoxys replied, "He's dead...Mewtwo's dead...."

Arachne giggled, "Very..."

She fell asleep on Rayge's head.
