I mean I know it sucks not to get what one's Imperial is worth, but that's unfortunately the way the economy is headed for all of us.

I have to say I'd still rather sell my Imperials for 30K than exalt them simply because I'm angry at the economy. But we're all different and I understand your frustration fully. I will come across the same hell with my Imps, no doubt. *hugs*

Well I never meant 30 or 40 but if you're desperate to sell then sell it for less. Also, as much as I hate selling my dragons for as low as they go for, it's still higher than exaltation but to each their own I guess. Things aren't going to get better for awhile though

The hostile undertones need to be taken down a notch.

Imperials are no longer this super rare, hot commodity dragon so it's only natural that their prices start to fall as well with more and more people able to snatch them up and breed them.

We're in an economy full of supply and little to no demand and people aren't just buying dragons willy nilly anymore because they're hitting lair caps they no longer want to work up the gold for. Currently the only way for things to sort of get better is for people to just start exalting dragons that aren't likely to sell, or exalt dragons after they don't sell for a day or two instead of continuously flooding the market. Hopefully the FR staff will keep making small steps forward to helping the economy improve.

In the mean time, let's not be rude to our fellow Petopians. There's no need for the snarkiness and passive aggressive undertones i keep seeing crop up in posts. If you're frustrated with the game, then take a break from it and don't take it out on us because we're not buying as many dragons now. And if you don't want to sell dragons at the current prices, i don't know what to say. Perhaps a break is a good idea, or a break from breeding, or to only breed on request or something. But complaining about prices here endlessly won't fix anything. For me, i don't like it, but i enjoy breeding my dragons so i will breed and sell at current market and put up with it in the hope things will get better.

I can understand the rather exhalt than sell low tbh.. when you spend alot of money on a dragon you dont want to feel it wasted.. and eventhough exhalt is lower then what you get it just feel wrong to sell that low

I've just been exalting everything-- even imperials! The colour ranges I work with really-... Won't make any decent amounts of treasure! People seem batty about whites and obsidians, as opposed to warmer colours! I'm mostly breeding to get specific combinations of imps and wcs, then exalting (or *attempting* to sell) anything that doesn't match what I need.

As I wrote on your profile, Vasken. I am DYING for an Imperial from one of your pairs. I am completely in love with them all. And their personalities! So don't exalt if you get a lovely girl Imp with crimson wings and a beige/stone/slate body.

As for exalting, plentifuls I will exalt after they grow up so I can level them a bit and get a teeny profit from getting rid of them. I will soon start doing that with ungened commons as well. Still, usually dragons will sell if you have patience. Two of mine took over two weeks to sell, but they did in the end, and not for a small amount of cash either. So it's about patience and knowing that your dragon is worth buying.

I'm with Mozag, hehe. If you find yourself with a male imp with your now-signature reddish wings and stone/slate/beige body... Well, I have a to-be WC girl waiting!

But yeah- usually, you can sell dragons for higher prices, but it certainly isn't a source of quick income. It can take a whole lot of hanging on to a dragon and for people like me, that's a really unappealing choice- I'd rather exalt 'em and get the small amount of treasure sooner. But for people with more patience than I, that's how I've seen money being made.

But yeah, I'm not all that picky about what I exalt. While I've worked hard on making my breeding pairs desirable, I'll still exalt even double-gened commons if they don't sell on AH. I just don't like waiting six long days until I can level them up, hehe.

It's your dragon so do what ever you want with them! Who cares what others think? I could care less! If you want to eat them then do it! or um exalt them that's a good way of getting rid of unwanted dragons too.

I think I'd only exalt an Imp/WC/etc if they upped the prices for those breeds. Otherwise it just seems like I'm throwing away money. That's just me, though!

I spent 19 days, nearly 20 trying to sell my Obs/Blood DG Imp for varying prices before I finally decided to give the other person who owned half of her 100k since she would of made more off me giving her that than she would of if we split a higher profit. It's frustrating as hell definitely, but 5 days is nothing for wait time compared to how long many other people have been trying. Someone else I know has been posting theirs on tumblr for nearly just as long and even tried raffling but never got a single bite on their FR thread I just don't breed anymore unless someone asks me to or I want to do something special with the babies. That's why I gave away my halloween PC babies rather than sold them, cause they were obviously destined for exaltation otherwise.

They're boring, except for any genes they might have. Obsidian is so dark no genes show on it, and most genes don't look good on white (like clown and that gray 'mask')

But I can put up a GLORIOUSLY COLORED dragon and be completely unable to sell it. Or one that's like... midnight/obsidian, which is so close to obs/obs that it really makes no bloody difference, and THAT won't sell...

But people ask 50k+ for ungened white/white or obs/obs plentifuls and apparently get it.

Yep, have a boon waiting and everything Since the last clutch was given away, I'll be giving this clutch away too so you'll get, if you like how they turn out, a gifted baby, and if there's a second one, that'll go to the other reserve that was made on that breeding when I was taking reserves, and I'll figure out what to do with the extra if there are any when the time comes

WHY.

People like blank canvases (they look like that to me), its something we've always been drawn to in life. I paid 125k for mah white/white. The person paid 90k for a boon mind you but apparently they checked AH and white/whites were about 150k earlier today when they were trying to figure out a price. It was so painful to pay that much, I never, EVER, thought I'd EVER do that. EVER. I was thinking I'd pay like, 40-50k and I'd be a good little girl and wait for the nest to hatch on its own but the breeder bred em and instantly popped a boon on em before I could say a word. I like double colored babies, but its not just tied down to any specific color, I love a lot of double color schemes. My white/white is after a character so she had to fit the bill just right xD
