What is the point of playing pokemon tower defense when my pokemon bug and transform into something else? I want my level 70 chansey to go back to being a level 70 chansey, and not a level 70 koffing. It's useless now. I can't make it do anything. :(

I really need a good friend.
One that will actually listen to what I say and comfort me. I never get comfort from my friends anymore it seems. Sometimes I feel they would be happier without me pestering them all the time.
Im so friggen tired as being treated as just someone. just another person. so so tired.
and then if I tell them, I lose my only friends. I feel so unloved right now its not even funny

Great.

Just great.

We just got our new washer and dryer in, after having gone a month without a dryer, clothes hanging all over the house like an art installation, dripping slowly while they dry...only to discover that until we get an electrician in to change an outlet, we can't use the dryer.

Apparently when this house was built, they put a range (oven) outlet in the laundry room...it's a common problem in older homes, but still heavily inconvenient now.

I just wanted to be able to wash the damn clothes and dry them immediately. Is that so hard to ask?

Ouch, that sucks. Whenever we want to wash/dry clothes, we have to turn off all the heat downstairs and make sure we don't turn on the oven vent fan or we blow/melt a fuse. Same thing for vacuuming. Everything gets turned off. This old wiring got rigged so that everything downstairs is pretty much on the same circuit. It's a real pain.

Do you know how hard it is to trim a cats bum fur when he does not want you too? Its really damn hard! He's so elderly he does not clean his bum and tail ( He can't bend as well as he used too but he can reach his privites still)

I'm going to try and give his tail a good shampoo as it's sticky! he comes inside with leafs stuck to him  if that does not go well I'll have to give that a good trim.

EDIT: tryed trimming his tail fur now it's unevan

I have BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) and it will not go away!

I was taken to the ER this past Sunday and was given several tests to find the cause of my vertigo. Luckily, my blood, urine, and CATscan tests all came back normal and I don't have an ear infection which would indicate that my symptoms may have been brought on by my recent bout with the stomach flu or stress. I just hate living this way - I can't drive, work, or cook; I can't bathe or walk without assistance. The only relief I find is when I sleep. I've never been so reliant on others before for normal daily things - it's frustrating and embarrassing. The doctor said that with vertigo, the experience differs from patient to patient and can typically last anywhere from a few minutes to several weeks. Seems like I am one of the lucky ones that gets to have on-going dizziness and nausea for longer periods of time ... </sarcasm> yeah me! I just want to feel "normal" again.

Today was the first day I can somewhat watch television or go on my computer without feeling worse off than I already am. I still have difficulty reading and looking into mirrors. This most likely means I will be unable to handle Warcraft for the time-being ... </more sarcasm> double yeah!

This ... just ... sucks!

Hey Niabi,

I suffered through those same symptoms for about 18 months. Life was not good at all. *hugs*

After every physical test they could do, some a few times over, they determined it wasn't physical and started treating me for anxiety. I'm just now starting to get my life back after all this started in the summer of 2010.

Try to look into any psychological causes as you explore the physical ones with your doctor.

And I hope you feel back to normal really soon!

18 months straight!? Holy cow! How did you cope? I've only had my symptoms for a few days now and I just want to curl up in a black hole and die.

I have a lot of stress in my life that I am pretty sure helped contribute to my vertigo episode. My husband is on kidney dialysis and is constantly in and out of the hospital due to his condition (He was hospitalized 3 times from November of 2011 to January of 2012 alone). My grandfather past away back in the summer of 2011 to whom I was extremely close to. I was also previously promoted over the holiday season into a management role at my job and took on more responsibilites and longer shifts (I had to resign the position after the holidays were over because of my husband's health and personal stress). I was also battling the stomach flu before my vertigo hit, so that could have something to do with it too. Perhaps it was just the result of a domino effect from everything I've experienced in the past year or so. I do everything I can to keep my stress levels under control but there's just no getting around life's unexpected surprises.

I'm so sorry you have to/had to go through this too. You have my sincerest sympathies

Coping was hard, incredibly difficult at time. My husband and friends and family managed to get me through it in one piece. And once the doc's sorted out what really was going on and got me on the right treatments things got better incredibly fast.

*hugs* That is a lot for one person to be dealing with all at once! Hopefully this awful dizziness thing will pass super quick and you can get back to life.

It seriously is the worst condition I have ever had to deal with, and I wish no one else had to deal with it ever.

*big hugs for Niabi*

I can't imagine dealing with vertigo like that. I had severe vertigo for several days once that finally resolved on its own, but during that time, I had difficulty walking, I couldn't eat, I was nauseous, and just generally completely miserable. Hope you feel better soon!

I had that once, it was absolutely horrible... particularly as I had no idea what it was.

Luckily a trip to the doctor fixed it - turned out to be a my inner ear getting caught between the external pressure of my ear plug (I wake up very easily if I'm not wearing them), and the internal pressure of wax buildup (bleah); a bit of warm water and problem solved.

If they haven't already checked that, you should have them look - sometimes simple things can be overlooked.

In any case much /sympathy, and I hope it clears up soon! :)

Much sympathy to you as well Niabi. :( I had it for a brief time, though it was only for about a month or so. Like Worba, I had no idea what it was or what was going on. It would occur while I was lying down, sometimes I'd just turn my head and the entire room would spin and I felt as though I was falling. Then it would just constantly happen while I walked and turned too quickly, or especially if I lowered my head or bent down.

I went to the doctor and he prescribed me some medication (I wish I could remember what it was), but between taking that and time passing it eventually went away. It's horrible and nauseating though, I hope yours clears up soon!

I'm right there with you Nialbi. I had it for about a month myself.I couldn't sleep well. I'd lay in my bed and cry because the world was just spinning before my eyes. Eventually went to the doctor and found out it was something in my ears. Earwax build up (mind you I clean my ears well enough but this was deeper than q-tips can reach). So he gave me a special medicine to take for my ears (Wasnt pleasant...gushing water in my ear on a daily basis....ick!) then after a week I came back to him and he pumped my ear clean.

Yup that's how it went for me too, in my case they were able to get it out at the doctor's office, happily, but yeah it's the sort of thing you'd never expect...
