I didn't even think about putting references into Roxíe's diary. :(
I do have one planned ahead for when I swap Rev out for my new pet; but it's a reference to my own character. >_<

*grins.* Ha, that's okay. So far it's been predominantly Pokemon references, and the huge WoW ones were heavily related to Koz. Go figure.))

((Long time, no post. Here we go.))

Dear Journal,

We've suffered a lot of misfortune. First, Fiona's wagon broke down. Then, Lillith got hurt. And, Ms. Fiona suffered from a disease that we had to go see a druid for, which sent us back a tower. All the meanwhile though, they had me doing various tasks. After doing several odd jobs, a few things cropped up in the tower that needed serious hero work. We had to take care of the cult again, for example. Which sounded fine to me. A cult is a cult is a cult. They may be different types or something like that, but I want them all dead.

We went to say hi to a troll named Vex'tul. We had killed his master, and he seemed impressed, but he believed in strength first. So he shouted, "Now, brothers! Attack the human!" and three trolls appeared out of nowhere! Lillith made short work out of them, and Buzzard was gnawing on one of their arms.

They were quickly killed, which Vex'tul wasn't disturbed in the least about. He pledged his service to us, and so Zerak, Buzzard, Lillith and I were off to catch some fish.

Uh...I didn't expect that.

After beating up some rather rude fish, we managed to catch what was needed in a net. Buzzard was a great help, diving in between groupers and picking up fish in his mouth. He even plucked one crab out of a grouper's jaw! It wasn't too happy about that, but Lillith wasn't going to let the fish hurt Buzzard.

Once that was over, we had to kill ghosts and stuff. We gathered living rot and then let it...congeal together. Once that was done, we finished killing Cultists so that we can steal their clothes. They're dead anyways. I don't think they need them anymore.

Afterwards, we had to gather some liquid plague agent, which meant killing water elementals.

Afterwards, we found the solution too strong. Which meant only a drop in the cauldron, or else. So I went up to it, to pour in ONE DROP but Buzzard got over excited and leaped around on my shoulder, causing me to pour more than a drop.

Whoops! It ended up exploding! Luckily, we managed to dive out of the way, just in time. Can't say the same for those cultists though. Serves them right. Then, without the still recuperating Fiona, we made our way towards Light's Hope Chapel.

Whoa. I saw a picture of Light's Hope in dad's part of the journal, and it has changed, quite a bit. It's really sort of impressive now, if you ask me. WE entered, and found Gidwin and Tarenar. The three of us went up to see Lord Maxwell Tyrosus, and he said we'd become members of the Crusade, if we passed a test.

But first we talked to all the locals, to see what they wanted us to do. They seemed a bit unsure if we'd pass the test, honestly. Lillith growled warningly at them, and they quickly explained the tasks that needed doing. Finally, it was time for the test. I was really nervous, but Buzzard sat on my shoulder, humming comfortingly, and Lillith was right by my side, giving a low, savage snarl.

Well. If they were ready, I am too.

We went down, and I read from the scroll. Lillith let out an eerie howl of challenge as a ghost appeared. Gidwin looked terrified, but determined. Tarenar just looked determined. Buzzard rattled his wings and gave a harsh cry, breathing a gout of flames. The ghost looked at this, and told us the trial had begun.

Ghosts poured out of the walls, attacking us. The five of us made short work of the ghosts, even when they came in doubles. Finally, the ghost turned towards us and charged, attacking. Lillith held his attention, biting and snapping while Buzzard dove in and out, striking when available. Tarenar and Gidwin tore at him from behind, and I peppered him with arrows.

Finally, with a grunt of respect, the ghost faded, and a whisper of a voice told us we passed the trial by combat.

We were Crusaders.

We returned to the Chapel, grinning from ears to ear. Tyrosus informed us of our next destination, and the boys were itching to go, but I told them to wait. Lillith was limping, and her old wound reopened with all the effort and fighting. So we're going to rest here at the Chapel for a while. The holy energy should help Lillith feel a lot better.

Till then, Journal.

((ANOTHER post? This SOON? NO. WAY.

Also, it's funny. Looking at my stables, seeing the pets that have goe through so far...Kind of a nostalgic feeling, seeing them all.))

Lillith healed up nicely, and Gidwin and Tarenar couldn't wait to go, so off we were. Our current round of duties, collect grub meet, visit Tyr's Hand, find Browman's wrappings, kill some scourge and bury some blades.

We killed some grubs, and Lillith really did not like that. They were all slimy, and poor Lillith was crying in frustration every time we had to go after one. Finally, I just decided to keep them at a distance, while she remained by my side, trying to wash out her mouth. Buzzard had fun though, burning them. They lit up nicely.

Next, we met up with the members of the Brotherhood of the Light, who were in the process of trying to conquer Tyr's Hand. I was to go in, kill guards, lit a flare. That didn't sound too hard, so in we went. Tarenar and Gidwin decided to go off and check in with Fiona, after leaving her, just in case she was still feeling poorly.

You know, I've been wrong before. We were ambushed by four of them, but we pulled it off anyways, and they were dead and we weren't. I call that a success. We went to set off the flares, only to find them almost lit. They were set and matches were right next to it. She must have just fell as she was lighting them. After wishing the guard's spirit to walk well in the Light, we returned to our mission.

Crusae Commander Korfax told us to collect several items important to them, the Shroud of Uther, Gavinrad's Sigil, the Crimson Boar, and Lihanna's Strand. We also had to kill the Huntsman, Commander, and Wrathcaster in the barracks.

We collected the Shroud and Sigil, and promptly massacred the Wrathcaster. He was surrounded by suffering undead, and Lillith put them out of their misery. We then found and killed the Commander, who seemed brave, if dead. She promised that she'd destroy us or die in the process. Mr. Korfax was right, she really didn't have a thing to lose. Nothing to fight for.

We found the Huntsman, but he was too easy as well. Once we were done, we went to see Commander Eligor Dawnbringer, in order to take the Abbey. We had to kill an assassin, and then open up some portals. We open the Portal in the Hall of Arms...

Then, the Library Wing was conquered and the Assaissain slain. Which just left the Cathedral. So, Lillith, Buzzard and I worked our way through masses of the Scarlets, trying to get to their commander.

Finally, we reached Vadelmar, and he shouted how undeath was merely a setback. Not to moved by that, the three of us quickly took care of Commander. Looks like undeath weakened him too. We returned to the Chapel, and found Tarenar and Gidwin waiting for us. As we went to rest, Buzzard came up to me, growling. He had something in his claws and dropped a writhing bag at my feet. He had found it on someone, and as I opened it, there was a small grub. It clicked its mandibles together, looking at Buzzard and Lillith curiously. Tarenar suggested I keep it along. Who knew? It'd be good fishing bait or bird food. Gidwin wanted to name him Mr. Grubbs, so that's his name.

We're going to get re-*The rest of this drops off, and there's a trail of slime. Evidently, Mr. Grubbs got excited and wanted to check out the journal, leaving slimy chaos in his wake.*

I know the feeling Azu, but at least you noticed yours. Yeah, while I was farming I just kept going, wondering why Mr. Grubbs wouldn't show up. 2 hours later I looked in my bags... then scrolled up in the loot log. I looted him 10 or so bags previous and never knew >.>
I like how you involved Terenar and Gidwin in his appearance :)

((Lazy, lazy, lazy, lazy, lazy Azu....))

Dear Journal,

Lillith still hurts. The wound grows worst, only alleviated by her time in the Chapel. Regardless, she is dead set in sticking by my side and fighting for me, and no matter how hard I try, I can never leave her behind while Gid, Tar and I go and deal with the Scourge. So she travels with us, and never complains.

We took care of some more issues sprouting amongst the Mill, and collected some bandages for some guy. Mr. Earthshatter wished to travel with us, so we agreed. He was too old to travel properly though, with all the threats, so he decided to sit and wait at the Chapel till we could come for him.

We put Fiona's charm back (My Mom's is more special and lucky anyways), and Lillith wanted to take a doll she found in the caravan. She gave a soft whimper when she saw it and nuzzled it, so I put it in my bags.

With that, Tarenar and I were off to kill Borelgore, a huge grub, destroy several undead trolls, and kill Ix'lar the Underlord. While we were traveling, Molly gave a frightened neigh and we found young Pamela, the ghost, following after us. She giggled and said, "Pretty horse!" and tried to pet Molly, but she shied away. Pamela didn't seem bothered one bit, and started talking about how the ghosts had once talked about this ghost kitty. She said she wanted to meet a ghost druid. I didn't believe her, but Lillith looked pretty eager to have her along and listened, so we let her talk about...anything, really.

The Scourge and Ix'lar put up a huge fight, but they just couldn't match up to our prowress. Our next move was to find and slay Borelgore.

Dear Light. Lillith leaped into the fray, biting and tearing, and I kept it distracted, launching numerous arrows into its mouth. With a shrill, unearthly cry, it fell over dead. Off we were to take care of some Mossflayers. Tarenar decided to head back and practice more on the Scourge, but Vex'tul stepped out of the shadows and pledged himself to help us. So Vex'tul, Buzzard, Pamela, Lillith and I were off to take care of the Mossflayer menace.

They were easy enough to kill, however in the middle of their campus was a pile of fresh graves. As we drew close, bodies clawed themselves out of the soil and attacked us! We were able to fend them off easily enough, but it was shocking.

We took care of Warlord Thresh'jin, when Vex'tul looked at me, pained. He told me this was it, he was ready to leave the caravan. As soon as I threw the body on the flames, he would...disappear. Fade out. Die. Lillith gave a sad little bark, and Buzzard chirped sadly, nudging Vex'tul. We solemnly made our way to the fire.

As he was freed, he leaped onto the flames and let them consume his now peeling body, dropping his chestpiece behind. Buzzard let out a little roar of sorrow, one of a friend leaving, then buried himself in his bags. Lillith lapsed, and she had to ride Molly as we slowly made our way back to the Tower.

Lillith looked eager to rest, but Gidwin had decided to run off on his own! I told her to stay while Tarenar and I went after him, but the faithful dog gave a stubborn growl and got up, doggedly following us. Off we went. and fought off several ghosts. They finally retreated, which allowed us to get what we came for. His prayerbook.

Panic filled all of us as we hurried to our next destination, where we hoped to find Gidwin. Argus tried to alleviate our fears, by telling us that he may be held for the death ritual to become a death knight. I couldn't help but shudder, to become...one of those? It sounded terrifying. Argus told me about the death knights of Acherus, and their tale of horror and destruction, and how, led by several Scourgelords, tried to take the Chapel, only to fail and fall into the Lich King's trap.

That can't happen to Gidwin.

But first, of course, we had to take care of other things. A man asked us to hunt this bat and kill it, Duskwing.

What is it with all the big creatures? Next, we had to destroy some Wretched, elves that gave into a magical addiction of theirs. They looked horrible, and when I got close to one, the look of relief in their dying eyes was sort of creepy. I hate these Plaguelands. Too much pain and suffering. Too much for one person and her dog to take care of.

We wearily went to kill the Siege Engineers and beat the information out of them. Lillith grabbed them and held them down while I interrogated them. In another situation, I'd feel guilt, but they had my friend. No mercy.

A few of them had too loose tongues and we had our info: Baroness Anastari and the Plaguewoods. And so, all of us went after Tarenar to the Plaguewood. We had to destroy ghouls to free Darrowshire spirits, kill golems, and collect skulls. Furthermore, we had to kill lieutentants of Rivendare.

His first was a death knight named Omasum Blighthoof.

He won't be leading much else anymore. The second was a Night Elf named Karthis Darkrune. He fell quickly as well, and we found a missive on his body. A note from the Baroness. Tarenar and I ran towards where he was held, and the Baroness snarled at us, ready to kill him. Tarenar and I entered, followed by Fiona and Argus, then Vex'tul, Rimblat, Pamela, and everyone else in our caravan. We surged forward to kill her:

And with a cry, she fell to her remnants. Gidwin picked himself up and asked if we could take him back after what we did. And of course, we accepted the idiot back in the group, grateful he had survived. The only down thing was Lillith was too hurt to move, so we carried her back to the Chapel so she could rest.

((Ack, forgot to put a note. The continuation.))

Dear Journal,

Lillith is still growing worse. But we still have work to do, and she won't leave my side, so she perseveres. My poor dog. So we went to free Darrowshire spirits, and destroy the flesh golems.

It's satisfying to watch them burn. Once our tasks were done, we returned to Crusader Frost, who seemed grimly pleased that our mission was successful. Our next order was to destroy Corpsebeasts. We placed light beacons around the creatures, and its energy poured into the creatures, ripping apart undead flesh.

Crusader Frost was done with us, so we went to the Plaguewood Tower. We were told to gather reagents for an anti-plague, as well as visit Augustus the Touched, a really crazy guy. He kept going on about his INSANE prices and wanted me to kill his dead pigs.

I hope this never happens to Scylla. But she's safe in Westfall. Anyways, we collected the recipe book, and finished our pig massacre. We then went to collect arms (What?), berries, and flesh giant foot scrapings. (Again, what?)

Finished, we used the hearthstone Gidwin loaned us and returned to the Chapel. As we got there, Lillith let out a low, drawn out howl and collapsed to the gruond, curling up and shuddering. Several priests came by, and Tarenar and Gidwin tried to help her as well. They all told me the Plagued wound took its toll, and if she were to leave the safety of the Chapel, she would definitely succumb to it. She would have to stay there. Tarenar, Gidwin, Fiona and the others offered to take care of her, while I was stationed to Badlands.

And so, I hopped onto the Uncrashable.

As we landed, a carrion bird swooped down. It looekd starving, and most of thought I was a corpse after my time in the Plaguelands. Once it realized its mistake, it chirped and fluttered off, studying me carefully. The goblins seemed unnerved, claiming it was the devil bird that had haunted them for a while. Buzzard flapped up to it, though, and the bird seemed impressed by whatever he said, as it flapped over and perched on my shoulder, giving a loud, triumphant "CRAW!" sound. I think I'll call her -she seems like a girl- Tira.

Poor Lillith. Hopefully the girl will be back to her old self soon. And yay, Tira reference! :D

Yeah, I'm the exact same way. Mordakai's has been sitting untouched for months now. He isn't very high level, so I'm very tempted to delete him, especially with the creation of a baby hunter I'm planning on leveling during summer vacation.

@ Seren: Wow, that's quite a compliment. My ego! It SWELLLLS.

@ Kam: Yeah, I noticed that. It's sad, they're really fun to read. I know I've just gotten bored out of my mind with EPL, so it hit a halt. But Badlands should be fun. I know there'll be a few Azu references, somewhere, inevitably. She hates the place. (Oh! There's also an Azu reference in the first post. Find it! :D)

@ Tyger: Awww, I can understand. I just like Sol so much, so she chills on my screen. I'm reluctant to get rid of her. Then again, I still have my DK I hate with a passion. Only reason he stays is because he's Azu's dad, ICly.
