I wasn't too sure what thread to ask this question on but... If you make a new character on the beta, can you transfer it to your real account when MoP comes out? Cause whenever I get an invite I'd love to make a pandaren and transfer her over to my account when the game comes out so I don't have to start her again. :3 I'm sure they did this in Cataclysm... or am I dreaming?

It's a genetic diversity. x3 Males are too big so they dont need a tail.

If were going to throw Red Pandas(which arent even pandas) in the mix and give females a tail then lets stick to the actual species and give males a tail as well since BOTH genders do. But thats Blizz for you, not making a lick of sense. I think its lame, big males or not. Of course the males are going to be bigger than the females even though Red Pandas by all accords should be significantly smaller... So the males are bigger excuse doesn't quite cut it.

Vulp.....This is their sandbox. We just play in it. Fantasy games is not something where you wanna say "Well if this is a real species, it needs to stay real!" cause that right there is where you mess up. It's a fantasy realm. They can make it a genetic diversity thing if they want. If they wanted to make the pandas purple with pink polka dots, they can. This is Azeroth, this isn't our world.

Do I wish males could have tails for personal reasons? Absolutely.

I wasnt throwing a hissyfit, I'm saying you cant justify it by that. Yeah this may be their sandbox but I dont wanna sit in it with the kid who pee's in it.(sorry for the odd imagery although I lol'd) It's stupid and I'm sticking to it. Yes its fantasy, so are numerous other games but you dont see stuff quite so off-putting. If your gunna base it off a real species at least do it right. Just because its fantasy doesn't make it a good idea.

You made me LOL....interesting imagery right there, Vulp. *giggles* You're free to think it's stupid, just as I'm free to think it's fine. I still stick to this not being the real world. Red Pandas technically don't exist in Azeroth....Pandas dont either really. Pandaren aren't pandas.

When you can point out where I said she specifically was throwing a hissyfit, I'd be willing to listen. Since I don't seem to see 'vulp is throwing a hissyfit' anywhere, I'm gonna correct you and say I didn't say she specifically was throwing a hissyfit. I just said "Will I throw a hissy fit" which refers to me and only me. Please don't put words in my mouth.

By your logic, 'They're red pandas so they should all have tails' doesn't hold merit either. Maybe the males looked silly with a tail.

Also this is still beta. They may change their minds later. On that note, everyone is allowed to have their opinion. Just because they don't agree with you doesn't mean their out to get you.
