I ended up naming him Jooda (Juuda was taken, but Jooda is just as good). I like how it flows with his clan name, Vao. Of course, I doubt I could get Vao as a legacy name (it's certainly taken), so it's really only in my head that his clan name is Vao. But, it's all good, homey!
I had a hard time deciding between the "caucasian" face and the "Asian" face (not trying to stereotype, but that's what they resemble IMO), but in the end I felt that the "Asian" face had more character and was a better fit for the voice. Also, surprisingly, I used the vertical stripe lekku pattern. That's always been my least favorite one. I tend to prefer the mottled or horizontal/diagonal stripes. But for whatever reason, the vertical stripes seemed to suit him. He's also got a burn scar on the side of his face. I haven't yet decided how he got it, but I like it.
The cutscene screenshot function is still acting stupid for me, so I couldn't get one. Cruddy lighting in-game pic.....go!

I ended up choosing a different lekku pattern because I wanted patterns on the face as well, but I like that one!
new pants:
They are actually grey cloth pants, but I got them cheap, so I just squint and pretend the cloth parts are my fur
Have started working on crew skills. Have all the gathering skills covered now, so I chose Cybertech for my first crafting skill, because they seem to be wearing mostly adaptive gear.
I've had the Raptr desktop app installed for a long time now, but I just remembered last night that I can take screen shots with it. So now, I'll just use that to take cutscene pics in SWtoR. Yay! However, that means I have a screen shot dump for you guys. Sorry!
I am very pleased that I caught this one at the right moment.
It took an hour or an hour and a half of browsing the GTN to find something that would suit Pereia. This is the Diabolist's Robe top with some other random, cheaper pieces. I liked the Diabolist's Robe top because it's not a full robe, or one of the ones that has little dangly bits under the belt. I wanted something dark and hooded, but that I could also wear with pants. I think the set turned out really well, and I just got a big thumbs up from my husband a few minutes ago, too!
I'm not usually into pink that much, but I think these transparent Aratech mounts look really awesome!

Do you guys mind if I post something that's more of a backstory than screen shots? I just wanted to put a little something in about Pereia, because she's one I've been wanting to play for a long time. I thought I wanted to play a Bounty Hunter with my husband's Sith Warrior (Juggernaut), but the story just isn't doing a whole lot for me. I already had Pereia created, so I decided that I'm going to play a Sith Warrior Marauder with his Juggernaut. We did that on our Jedi Knights, too. He played a Guardian and I played a Sentinel. Anyway! I'm in a little bit of a hurry so I have to type this quickly, so it won't be as polished as I usually do.
She could have been one of the Republic's greatest champions, but instead she will be one of its greatest enemies......
When she was a child, her quiet village was attacked by a Jedi. Unbeknownst to the village, an ex-Sith had been living among them. He wanted to give up the Sith life, but knew they'd come after him. He also knew that if he revealed himself, the Jedi would want him too. So, he chose to live a peaceful life among the villagers. Well, the Jedi caught wind of him somehow anyway, so they sent one of their knights to bring the Sith in, or kill him if he resisted.
The Jedi they sent, however, was a bit of a zealot. In his mind, he was a champion of the Light Side, but in truth, he was far too over-zealous about it. He saw the Dark Side in just about everyone, and gave it no quarter. So when he got to Pereia's village, he demanded they hand over the Sith. The villagers didn't have any idea what he was talking about, but the ex-Sith stepped forward so as not to endanger the villagers. The Jedi, however, believed that their ignorance was actually feined, and accused them all of being Dark Side converts. Pereia had been out playing outside the village, but on her way back home, she stopped as she witnessed the massacre of her friends and family at the Jedi's hand.
She fled, and stowed away aboard a cargo freighter some distance from town. It ended up Nar Shaddaa, so that's where she stayed. She was only a young girl, so she needed protection. Nar Shaddaa isn't exactly the best place for a child, though, so she ended up drifting from gang to gang, living a life of thievery and violence. Survival became her way of life, and the only way to get it was to be stronger than everyone else, and not hesitating to kill if threatened. Kill, or be killed.
One of the gangs she ended up joining had a somewhat unusual member. He was a zabrak, handsome and friendly. He caught her eyeing a sword one time, and offered to teach her how to use it. She took to it as if it was second nature. In time, he ended up revealing that he was an ex-Jedi initiate, expelled from the Order for not being able to (or simply didn't want to) control his emotions and letting anger control him. The Jedi didn't believe he had been trained well enough to be a true threat, so they sent him away rather than keeping him around (or whatever they do with expelled initiates).
Naturally, as time went by, Pereia began to fall in love with him, and though he never said so, he returned the affection. Love like theirs is doomed to end, though, it would seem. The Order began to hear about a certain gang on Nar Shaddaa, and how one of its members was training recruits in the Dark Side. It wasn't true, of course, but rumors rarely are. They sent a Jedi to investigate. The Jedi, of course, was the very same one who slaughtered Pereia's family and friends.
After the zabrak (haven't come up with a name for him yet) had walked Pereia home one night (they had become quite close, though hadn't admitted their feelings yet), he was ambused by the Jedi. The Jedi gave him one chance to surrender his Dark Side ways and return to the Order as a prisoner, but naturally the zabrak refused. He enjoyed his freedom, and protested that he wasn't training anyone in the Dark Side. The Jedi wasn't convinced. He cut the zabrak down before he had a chance to draw his weapon to defend himself.
Pereia sensed something was very wrong, so she opened the door to see the Jedi hopping on his speeder, casting a quick glance her way over his shoulder before speeding off. Her beloved was laying on the ground, still alive, but struggling. She ran down the street as fast as she could, to his side. Dying in her arms, she finally told him in tears that she loved him, and he smiled and said the same. They kissed softly, both their first and their last, as he passed away in her arms. She took his sword to remember him by.
From that moment on, the seed of hatred that had been planted in her heart so many years ago bloomed. She became quiet and reclusive, and prone to violence. A Sith that was on the planet sensed a power in the Dark Side nearby, and it wasn't long before he spotted Pereia. He decided to watch from a distance to make sure it was her, and to see what she was like.
Pereia was in a shadowed corner of a pub one night when a group of young ladies kept looking her way, giggling. Two of them, anyway. The third had a look of sympathy in her eyes. Pereia's anger grew, but she tried to ignore it. However, as they left, one of them openly mocked her to her face. Pereia hadn't bathed recently, so her hair was long and greasy. She didn't care about her appearance anymore. Her clothes were just rags, too. The ladies were young and beautiful and well-dressed, so two of them looked down upon the greasy wretch that Pereia had become. Pereia wanted to strike them all down then and there, but she knew she couldn't do so in the open.
So, once they left, she too left, and began to follow them from a distance. She stayed to the shadows, her long years of learning how to survive paying off. Once they were in a quiet street, Pereia ambushed them. With her beloved's sword, she cut down the first, the one who had mocked her. The second, the one who had been laughing along, tried to run, but Pereia caught her easily and killed her as well. The third, the one that hadn't taken part in the mocking, stood there in shock. Pereia could practically smell the fear on her, but the young lady didn't flinch from her imminent death. Pereia simply told her, "Run." And so the girl did. The first lady had also been a Miraluka with a beautiful mask. Pereia took it from her body and put it on, a sort of memento of her first real murder and how it felt to get revenge. Plus, it was pretty, and Pereia liked it.
The Sith wasn't the only one who had noticed Pereia, however. The Jedi was still on the planet, for he had also sensed a powerful Dark Side force. Though Pereia tried not to stand out, she did anyway. The Jedi had seen the whole murder unfold, and he confronted her. She recognized him instantly, and drew her sword. She would kill him where he stood, or die trying. The Jedi used the Force to hurl a chunk of debris at her, but before it hit her (and it surely would have killed her), it exploded in a ball of lightning.
The Sith who had been watching her leapt from the shadows and landed in front of Pereia, his double-bladed lightsaber drawn. Pereia began to protest, but he simply smiled at her with rage in his eyes, and she understood that she had to let him fight this battle for her. She begrudgingly backed off. The Jedi fought skillfully, but in the end he was overpowered by the Sith's powerful lightning blasts and ultra-quick lightsaber attacks. He slew the Jedi, his lightsaber darkened with blood. Pereia looked at the Sith without fear. She now knew her purpose in life: to end all Jedi. She would do whatever it took. The Sith offered to take her to Korriban to undergo Sith training. She accepted, more than gladly.
While on the ship, it came to her attention that the Sith was also a zabrak, also handsome, and while he seemed friendly on the surface, there was a certain sinisterness boiling underneath. He even somewhat resembled her beloved. Feeling lonely, she approached his quarters during the night and..."spent the night". Later, though, she just felt bitter and empty, and he didn't seem to care about her anyway. She decided from then on to focus only on power, on survival, on killing all Jedi. Love had only ever brought her sadness. Everyone she ever loved had been taken away by the Jedi. Hate and anger were only things that she could lean on. She would become a force to be reckoned with. The Republic had no idea of the monster it had created.
The end! Eventually, of course, I'll probably do the romance with Quinn, but for now, that's where she stands.

I like the story
I've thought up backstories for some of my characters as well, Niccun and Lenoas in particular .. half brothers .. on opposite sides of the raging war.
I made a sith warrior on the harbinger the story is (obviously ) one of my absolute favourites

Yeah, I can't help it. I think up backstories for just about all of my characters. I thought of one for my bounty hunter, too, but the game's story doesn't mesh well with her origin story, so it's kinda ruining it for me a little. That and I find myself not really into the whole "Great Hunt" thing. I suppose it's probably because See'lu wouldn't be into something like that. I bet if I make a different bounty hunter someday, I'd be okay. I would just have to create a different backstory now that I know what direction the game's story is taking.
Thanks for reading all that!!! I feel bad for the giant wall of text, but sometimes I just gotta get my story in writing for it to feel concrete. It's really strange, I know. It's like somehow writing it down makes it more legit than if it's just in my head.
I like your story of the brothers on opposite sides. I've actually got a couple like that! Asano, my inquisitor and Llayth, my consular, are half-sisters. Even though Asano is rattataki according to the game, I'm saying that she's a human/zabrak hybrid. The Dathomirians aren't called as such until much later, if memory serves, but that doesn't mean that hybrids can't have existed in this time period. It's a long story, but Asano and Llayth share the same zabrak father but have different mothers. Asano's mother was a human Sith Lord, and Llayth's mother was just a zabrak villager.
Gah, there I go writing too much again! I guess my point is that great minds think alike, hehe!

Both Niccun and Lenoas are mirialan, I'm thinking their father 'kidnapped' Niccun as he defected to the empire hoping both sons would be force sensitives only to abandon Nic when it was revealed he was not unlike his perfect older brother who was already training as a jedi.
Nic learning to mask his feelings at an early age becoming adept at subterfuge eventually joined imperial intelligence where he finally found his calling as a marksman.
I don't remember weather or not I already posted Niccun in this thread .. well either way, here he is.

Ha, that's cool! I like how one's Force-sensitive while the other isn't, and how they're on opposite sides. That makes it more interesting than Light Side vs Dark Side.

I made Nic on a whim .. I usually have issues playing "republic" races as sith as Za'n shows, he was originally mirialan but he just never clicked untill I changed to his current look but Niccun clicked .. perhaps because he looks slightly evil

I took some more pics of Pereia last night. I'm really liking her a lot, much more than my BH.
Posting this one mainly to show the new pieces I picked up. I went with the Sith Dueling Boots and Gloves instead of the other stuff I bought. I think it goes with the rest of the set a little better than the larger, clunkier armor pieces I had before.
Revan's mask was a giant black blob with white dots in this particular cutscene. I thought it looked silly, so I took a pic. I also like how Pereia looks when she's hooded. I don't generally like using hoods or helmets with characters (I spend all that time making the character, so why hide their head?), but it works on her.
This one just looks cool. I also just now noticed that that dead guy's top half is buried in the floor.

Awww yeah! You got a bantha! Sweet! Congrats on the drop.
So um, yeah...this happened last night.
I had a pile of Cartel coins sitting around since I was inactive for a bit, and I wasn't sure whether to buy this mount, or buy a bunch of packs. The varactyl won. I like the varactyls anyway, but this one was so perfect for Pereia that I just couldn't pass it up.
Also, another pic of Pereia because ermahgerd she's too awesome! :3

couldn't resist getting a kitty for my Cathar:
I've discovered the achievement UI, so I'm currently working on the 1k kills achievement with Qyzen Fess.
Other than Treek, he's my favorite companion so far.
Also accidentally did my first solo heroic 2. Was running around questing, and wondered why the mobs in the 'class quest' instance were so tough
