New skin pictures and more

i just updated my model veiwer and i found some nice new skins on an already existing creature check em out

They are really quite fetching, I must admit. I love the Jormungar look and always felt disappointed that there weren't more tamable options. Fingers crossed that these ones make it in as tamables some how. Personal favourite would have to be the grey-blue, with the black coming a close second. Do want.

And I found something interesting myself, looks like we could be seeing soem new Chimera skins... Alas I can't seem to get them to load right. I can only seem to change the colour of their bodies and faces. The texture for their neck/tails is there, but I can't figure out how to get it to pop on the right body part. Hopefully either someone much more clever will figure it out, or blizz will fix it later.

Hope we eventually see a dark purple model similar to the warcraft 3 model in the future. XD

I think there's a new outlands model on the way too (not too sure about this one). Again, I have the neck loading issue.

Ooh, that does look neat. I agree with you that it does, unfortunately, look glitchy...

I hope other pet families get some new skins... the chimeras got some lovely new looks (which are hopefully tamable!), so I don't see why some other tamable species shouldn't get some spiffy new additions to their families.

Also I got some news the Trench Stalkers are ALL now lvl 82... I was sad to find that out to but.. atlest I got one when I hit 82! not... to just get the under water mount quest... -.- it REALLY hates me...

H'oy, one of the new crocolisk skins has been sighted, and in the worgen starting zone of all places! Honestly I'd assumed that we'd see these new skins popping up in Uldum and hardly getting used anywhere else:



Now for some bad news, I doubt these Gilnean Swamp Crocolisks will be tameable. They're only encountered briefly around level 7 and the zone makes heavy use of phasing, I tried backtracking to the Marsh around level 12 and there were no mobs there at all

and you can always grind to the next level especially with heirloom gear

Not seen anyone mention this, but found a monkey mob on Jaguero Isle called a 'Skymane Bonobo' which uses the new monkey skin, and is coloured black.

They are, but they're using the monkey-looking skin and have tails, which is the objection.
