correct me if i'm wrong, but your argument against hydras seems to be rather biased by your own dislike of them? i will certainly not be taming a noisy, stinky, stupid hydra. but i am happy that my fellow hunters who have wanted them for so long have something to be happy about! ^_^
my roommate has all but quit wow for league of legends and other games...but when i mentioned the possibility of taming hydras he looked like a kid at christmas. he mentioned actually paying $30 to bring his currently unused hunter back to his home server from her banishment to some backwater realm. people feel really strongly about these!
