Thing is there's only so many times you can show the same character doing the same things, before the audience dies down to the hardcore loyalist minority, so really at some point change becomes inevitable.

Well seeing as the first Conan movies are pretty old now alot of the viewers of this movie more likely wont of seen the first ones so they don't need to change Conan.
