=p
Looks rather likely though, based on what they've done. Not much to add to that.

If they did, then we know who to blame if they don't show up!Azunara wrote:Did the Hydras shrivel up?Ryno wrote:Here I've been coating all hydras I see in salt... I see now... I gotcha...

That said, I do hope they show up sooner rather than later. :3

For all we know, they get asked about hydras hundreds of times a day so they just say yes (or no) to try and keep people from asking them about it.
Only the devs know for sure what's going on with hydras.

Re: HYDRAS! (are coming, says a GM)

I've seen a couple people make posts that feel as if someone's said they're not being tamable. I apologize if I'm reading the posts wrong, but it just seems worth clarifying that those of us exorcising caution don't believe that hydras won't be tamable ever.

Yeah like others have said. You cannot trust what a GM says regarding these things and I'll believe it when there is legitimate proof.

I still believe they will be tameable next patch if not after a certain maintenance / hotfix. If not that soon then oh well... some time within cata they should be here. Like i said blizz would not go to all the trouble to help the maybe 100 people with the hydra. Besides the ooze has nothing newzedxrgal wrote:I clearly have tunnel vision for hydras. All I saw was "Hydras are coming".

yeah. the 5% crit is well covered by devilsaurs (for BM) and wolves (for mm/surv) and have lots of skins/models to choose from. i would say that the buff is well covered and as far as raids go there is usuly more then one hunter with a devilsaur/wolf out anyway. It would be nice to see the hydra cover somthing elce.Slickrock wrote:I still wish they were making them an AOE pet.. we need more AOE options...
fear would be nice
aoe
perhaps somthing like what cats have? it would help balance things out.
a knock back would be great since rhinos are the only other pet that have it, and they are BM.
somthing new or not as well covered?
But honestly if all the hydra could do was blow soap bubbels i would still go get one

Thanks to Vephriel for this awsome sig
"One day, this Hydra WILL be mine! I hope"- Me, before hydras were tameable.

Re: HYDRAS! (are coming, says a GM)
well think about it, from blizzards point of view only 3 classes CAN do the 5% crit buff and it benefits everyone, i think its sub rogues (correct that please) fury warriors (again not sure on talent) and a hunter if he has said pet, look at pets they picked too, wolves (though one reason for their popularity was the AP buff) devilsaurs (which are AWESOME) and hydras (new pet a lot of people wanted...) i think they like the 5% crit buff a lot and they want to encourage more hunters to use it.SylviaDragon wrote:yeah. the 5% crit is well covered by devilsaurs (for BM) and wolves (for mm/surv) and have lots of skins/models to choose from. i would say that the buff is well covered and as far as raids go there is usuly more then one hunter with a devilsaur/wolf out anyway. Personally i read a couple of things i loved in a similar thread
Hydras:Exotic ferocity or cunning
Thrash: Your hydra ferociously slams the target increasing all physical damage they recieve by 4%
Exotic ability: Wild thrashing: Your hydra starts wildly thrashing about, causing (some formula) damage over X seconds, channeled

Hunters don't need three pets that bring a 5% crit buff. It feels silly and rather like a waste to me.

Are you sure? I know Druids bring Strength/Agility buff but I don't recall a Crit buff.TygerDarkstorm wrote:Feral druids bring 5% crit as well.
