I will say one thing, and one thing only guys, dont reserve any judgement until you see them live. Pictures do not give these guys justice especially the bird ^.^ But thats fine, you all hate it them so that I can get them all first! *purrs* Ill keep my eyes out, got a char on a really low population server so that should nicely help with looking on two different server.

I will definitely agree with that.

It's very hard to determine anything from a picture.

Deterrance is 5 seconds, you'll have landed by then.

Best way is probably to get a parachute cloak of some kind if you're not an engineer already (Shatari Skyguard cloak works too) and macro something to cancelaura the parachute buff.

1) Prep with Ancient Hysteria/Freezing Trap where you intend to land (there's tons of corehounds north if they make them tameable)
2) Tag the bird with arcane shot
3) Pop Deterrance at some point to negate the moonfire hits. He only seems to cast them in close range.4) Pop parachute cloak 15 yards above ground or so, then cancel it so you land faster but negate the fall damage
5) Make sure it will hit the trap or just start taming in a panic

That all said, they're still rare spawns... will be fun to camp and tag first and all, especially naked of gear.
