Just last night I had a dream about the red nether ray... Can't remember all of it but I know it was fun. The ray was called Skate and he loved flying in circles and biting and hanging off of Var's pauldrons ._. . So I've been running around with a red ray (named Skate ) and I actually love him, despite the creepy black eyes and his lack of a run animation. PetEmote also has him gnawing on my gloves and flying backwards in circles most of the time too!

I'll run around with the tan and red moths for a while too and see how I feel with those but I must say, Skate is looking like a winner.

I must get a white moth for another character, it's so pretty!

Well, I've narrowed it down to the red ray (all because of a dream!) and the tan moth. I must say I love both of them right now, and will probably hold onto both for a while. Their personalities have shone through quite a bit too

First up: Skate the red ray.

He's a boisterous one and quite random. When he isn't flying around in erratic circles (backwards or forwards) he's usually hanging off of Varethyn's shoulder armour or chewing his gloves. Skate loves to be first; when on the move he is always the one in front. This of course leads him to flying in the wrong direction half the time. When fighting Skate likes nothing better than to disorient the foe by spinning wildly around them then smacking them with his thick tail from behind.

I noticed that the red ray's eyes aren't completely black, but are red with a massive black pupil with a bluish sheen. They just appear black from a distance because the iris is a similar shade to his skin. There is also a tooth underneath his eye that, to me anyway, makes it look like he's smiling.

Skate is happy to meet you!

Conversly the moth, now named Vanille for her vanilla-like colour, is really quite shy.

More often than not she is seen floating quietly behind her master and will often cling onto Varethyn's back - she's so light Var doesn't always notice unless her antennae tickle his neck. She's the one who'll hang back and remain calmly quiet unless addressed and preferrs not to fight. (I almost called her Fluttershy for this reason :3). She loves moonlight and on calm nights will dance serenely in the air, scattering the dust on her wings.
