I had this happen to me, I switched specs back dismissed my other pet hit revive and my pet (it was Loque for me) came back.

If he's really gone though, that's weird. I hope a GM can restore him for you, although I'm not sure if he can if it happened recently after you tamed him

I had him for like 10 mins, should be enough to save him in the database right?
