Crocodiles are my absolute favourite animals in the world - period. If I were rich and could get the license I would honestly build a huge, awesome enclosure and have a pet croc or at the very least a caiman of some sort. ^_^

When I found out just before BC that blood elves would have a hawkstrider mount to match my tallstrider, I spent most of my WoW time grinding runecloth, buying runecloth, and begging my friends for runecloth, hehe. I was the first player on my old server that wasn't a blood elf to have the blood elf mount. I still only ride hawkstriders for my land mounts.

I do notice people that dislike blood elves (me, I can't stand them) love the racial mount, but people that love blood elves HATE the racial mount.

I'm actually starting to see a wide variety of fitting mounts in my Hunter's future. From most likely to least likely:

1./2. Black War Kodo and Armored Brown Bear. Both of these would go with my Hunter nicely. I'm on my way to getting the former through Honor grinding (21.5k/50k,) and the latter could easily be bought while I quest in Northrend.

3. Swift Orange Raptor. It's more fitting of the Hunter image rather than a "butch" image, but my Hunter is close to Revered with the Darkspear Trolls. And it's reddish-orange.

4. Skeletal Horse (Either Ochre, Red, or White.) This one isn't as strong-looking as the other ones, but I could see a few reasons why Arclite would own one. Maybe.

5. Swift Zulian Tiger. This one is quite a stretch, but it does fit the image of a Hunter, and it has a color scheme matching my Hunter.

My dwarf has all the Alliance non-pvp mounts, all the slow and fast gryphons, an armored brown bear, all the Nagrand talbuks and...the reason for all that....the albino drake that is the 50 mounts reward.
I really never liked the ram mounts and around lvl 50, ground for the other ally mounts to see which was best. I wish the fast horses weren't all armored and glowy eyed. The plain old slow horse (chestnut mare) is my favorite mount, looks wise, aside from the talbuks. But, it's just too slow. So, I ended up using the grey fast kitty until I got my talbuk. Now, my main ground mount is the white war talbuk. And of course, the dragon for flying.

My Tauren acutally can't stand her kodo...ugh. She's working on getting a wolf and raptor.

I know what you mean... I hate the kodos too. My tauren druid has the raptor from Ungoro and the Zhevra mount, and I just recently got her the rep to buy the white wolf from Orgrimmar. She's never riding a kodo again, I can tell ya that much.

I think I'll be working on UC rep on my petopians hunter, the skeletal warhorses totally seem like something she'd go for...
