Loque (6 times!)
Gondria (three times)
Aotona
Olm the Wise (Only ever seen it once on my server. Never seen it since)
Skoll
Flaming armored boar (This one was incredibly hard to get)
Skarr (Tamed only to practice for Karkin. Abandoned right after. Yes, thrown away.)

WoW, where is my KAMEN RIDER BEETLE LARVA PET?

And then there's the ones who have a personality. The ones who, even though I don't really use them any more, I can't seem to get rid of. I don't know why, but I just can't.
Totally fantastic avatars and signatures by Sookie, Nili, Serenith, and Kurenio.

Really? I find the squees to be one of the most charming pets. They seem to be so enthusiastic and lively. Admittedly, PetEmote helps too...Sukurachi wrote:For the longest time, I dual-boxed with a pair of Gondrias.
However, a few months ago I discovered the advantages of Shale Spiders, and sort of adopted a a pair of those (I think a blue one and a yellow one? I'm colour-blind, so it gets confusing at times).
But I don't have any sort of feelings toward my Shale Spiders. They're GREAT pets for PvE stuff, I've been having fun doing level 70-80 dungeons duo with them, but... they don't "feel" alive to me. More like my Warlock's demon.
Sig and av by the very talented Kurenio!

I'm so happy that you posted this...
I was specifically looking for this thread when I came to Petopia today, and I really wanted to come back and revisit my earlier comments.
With more time, I've grown incredibly fond of my Shale Spiders.
Yesterday, while farming for leather in Twilight Highlands, I found myself actually talking to Araneae and Portia, my pretty little blue Shale Spiders (I think they're blue.. I'm colourblind, and it gets confusing at times... they're not a rare or anything).
So yes, they've grown on me. A great deal.
I really thought I'd be totally in love with my Karoma, since that pet look is one I've been dreaming about for he longest time... but i find myself constantly using my shale spiders, on ALL my hunters who have them.

oh, ok.Sherbe wrote:They are probably purple since there isn't a blue shale spider
hehe, that falls into my "close enough for a hand grenade" category of "I was right". Blue, purple, bah tomato, turnip. same thing
