I was pretty pissed off at this point, explained to the belf that the cat had been killed, and logged over to alliance. As politely as I could, I asked the night elf why she killed the rare, while I was signalling for her to stop with various emotes. /no, /wait, etc. Her response? "Didn't want a hordie to get 'im."

Ignorant: Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular.
As in, they either are unaware of the sadness/grief they're causing to other players, OR they're actually doing it to be mean.
You're looking for insults that aren't there.

It became rude when you stopped answering my questions and instead just tried to prove me wrong on whether or not I was upset over something, and telling me whether or not I should be playing this game.

There's this thing called decency. Most people like to adopt that policy so that they can make the world a better place. Decency means you don't kill other people's pets in mid tame, no matter the faction. Hell, if you're killing the other faction, you might as well destroy the pets on your faction's. I mean, you're being a jerk either way. You're ruining another person's day. Somewhere, on the other side of the computer screen, someone just watched a person kill their pet. And that can really affect people. What if that person has mental or physical issues and uses WoW as an escape? And you killed their pet? You could easily trigger their problems. What if they're just some average guy who wants a pet? You've just made their day a little darker.

Essentially, by adopting the attitude of, "I can kill the other person's pet!" you're saying, "I can make people miserable because they don't have the same little avatar as I do!"

No, I never said I was upset, no, I never said that they are ignorant for playing a war game, I said they are ignorant TO how other players are feeling when they kill rare pets. Ignorant isn't always an insult, ignorant means you're unaware of something. Some players are unaware that they are going to make someone mad for killing a certain mob. End of discussion.

If the game you play triggers mental problems then some one needs to step in and stop them, its time we stoped blaming the games. and just cause some people play the game in a different way then you doesn't make then stupid. I know numerous people who have made great progress with mental illnesses through video games, though it would be much better if there wasn't spiteful people on the internet, though we obviously can't fix that.

Please point out one place someone was called a name.

I don't know how to do higher math such as Calculus. I am ignorant of said math. Ignorant is just another way of saying do not know. I swear to you.

Secondly: Do you know how many people have come forth saying, "Yeah? I use WoW to relieve stress and get away from the suffering in real life." Do you know how many people you've said to, "I'm sorry. You have mental issues and this affects you more harshly. Get off he game and go see a doctor." Not everyone is going to be stoic and shrug it off. Believe it or not, some people don't like it when their stuff is taken from them. Let's say you have something ninja'd. You're going to be upset, aren't you? Same idea here.

How many posts have I used up trying to explain what ignorant means? I'm not using ignorant as a name-call.

As I said NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE, ignorant's very definition is not knowing something. Some people don't know, hence they are ignorant to, the emotions of others. It is not an insult.

there you go with stealing again its not stealing the NPS is there fo anyone to do with as they plz. Stealing says you have ownership over somthing and some one is attempting to take it from you and if wow makes you cry or set of a mental PROBLEMS ( Key word there ) then you should take a break from it. Games are ment to be enjoyable a way to have fun. Crying and setting off mental Problems doesn't seem very fun

I'm gonna agree with Azu, Zuilu, and Kalli here. Now, I've played on a PvP server for six years. There was a time, once, when I enjoyed being on a PvP server just because it was a PvP server. I got griefed a lot, yeah. No, I was never one of those people who camped someone or killed quest NPCs or did jerkish things, because I just didn't find that fun. But legitimate world PvP? Oh, that could be a blast.

But since this patch has come out, world PvP has made my life a living hell-- and I'm not even on the Front. I'm sitting in Storm Peaks. I hate that people have declined so quickly into behaviour that is better suited to... actually, that would be an insult to animals. Do you think people act this way in real war? Let me tell you-- they don't. The crap that we go through on a daily basis in World of Warcraft is so bad that I had a vet of the Iraqi war tell me that he quit playing because, after he went to a real war, he just couldn't believe how much worse people acted in a fake one.
