Maybe... It'll be called The Rise of Deathwing! Sort of a Black Morass style dungeon, where we help the bad guys!Andine wrote:Who wants to bet the CoT instance will see us trying to prevent Deathwing's corruption or preventing Infinites from trying to help him kim all the flights in the ancient times?

Pretty sure that wont do that. If you make it look like a bow, it's probably gonna fire arrows.Stallord wrote:Yay Finally! I've wanted this forever :F I think I have like every armor set I ever wore stashed away also MY BOW WILL FIRE BULLETS MUAHAHAHA

Re: omg clothing storage and changing the look of your gear?
The Bronze dragonflight wouldn't send us in to prevent Deathwing's corruption, it would be to cause it (which isn't really what the War of the Ancients was all about, Deathwing was just another setback). The timeline we are currently in is the correct timeline. the infinite dragonflight wats to change things to wat seems better to us, but in reality it would cause so much havoc. I won't get into it, but if Deathwing wasn't corrupted, a lot of other things in the timeline that needed to happen wouldn't have.Andine wrote:Who wants to bet the CoT instance will see us trying to prevent Deathwing's corruption or preventing Infinites from trying to help him kim all the flights in the ancient times?
But anyway, the War of the Ancients was basically the Night Elves (minus the Highborne) versus the Burning Legion (who were "working with" the Highborne)
I'm really excited about it. I loved the War of the Ancients trilogy and am SUPER excited to try this new dungeon out <33

Not if you have a gun silencer that makes your gun sound like a bow.Feralclaw wrote:Yay! Guns are too noisy.

For some odd reason i foresee MC being raided again

Re: 4.3 info on MMO Champ. (omg clothes storage)
My poor warlock will FINALLY HAVE SPACE.
As I'm reading it, if you put the armor in your Void Bank, you can then transmogrify off it.
If you want an armor set that's a different sort, you'd have to save a downgraded set (which means you might as well keep the original items). But since it's RP gear anyway, by that point, losing the gems/enchants off it doesn't matter.
They just don't want some warrior to make all their armor look like a priest's and then when someone tries to gank them in PVP, eat their faces. Which I totes understand.
But I am SO looking forward to making my awful looking leveling/instancing gear look like the handsome RP sets I've been collecting since the dawn of time.
As for the rest of it....
Yeah, this is likely to be the last major patch. However, given the success of ICC, I expect that the final Deathwing raid will not be released all at once, but staggered over a few months just like ICC was, with sub-patches.
I'm likewise not crying over the loss of the Abyssal Maw. I found Vash'jir pretty... but obnoxiously annoying and the storyline didn't grab me in the least. I also agree that if Pandaria is an Island/Sea based expac (also it's kind of time for Asian themes after we've had vikings, Egyptians, Haida, and Space Crystal themes...), it'd make sense to save whatever they've got for the first raid of the new expac.
Also, I am gonna go on record as saying: No new playable races. New 'major toy' is another hero class. It will be 'Monk', and a healer/rogue-esque hybrid, leather-wearer. (There's kind of a lack of leather-wearers anyway; only rogues and druids wear leather past 40, and I expect they want another class to share all that caster leather that druids have been hogging to themselves all this time.)

Re: 4.3 info on MMO Champ. (omg clothes storage)
I actually read up on this page (ignore my noobness, I have barely any raiding exp. for cata) that blizz is going to include Cross-Realm Raid Finder? I need to ask, what are your opinions on this so called "Raid finder"? I find it to be extremely stupid (here comes my noobness..), because say someone like me could que, find a raid, and cause wipes. I wouldn't use this, though...so that kinda stops one person from causing wipes. I figure that it WILL require Ilvl (if you go to raid on the chat frame, and then "open raid browser" you see the ilvl), but someone can easily get gear from JP/ZA and ZG which would equal a near 355-357 Ilvl speaking you had good drops..and then crafted/bought gear as well. With Firelands/Molten Front epics, you can get a near 359 ilvl, without any raiding exp. (These are just my calculations, so I am probably off a little)

That's a risk with any PUG raid, though... well, any raid at allmeepitco wrote:I actually read up on this page (ignore my noobness, I have barely any raiding exp. for cata) that blizz is going to include Cross-Realm Raid Finder? I think the cross-realm aspect would be detrimental, much like it has been with 5-mans, because of the inherent anonymity. Though you do have the advantage of being able to find a group reasonably quickly and with no effort expended, what you end up with is a grab bag of loot ninjas, self-entitled tanks, etc mixed in with totally awesome players, and chances are you'll never see any of them again.

Re: 4.3 info on MMO Champ. (omg clothes storage)
This is what occured to me. It is going to be a very long time between the patch and the next expansion, even if they held out and published 2.3 in December (when SWTOR comes out, I think) When do you think they will release the patch? Later than December?AdamSavage wrote:So if 4.3 is the final patch, how long is cataclysm going to be around for ? I don't know how they would keep everyone interested until Nov of Next year.

Re: 4.3 info on MMO Champ. (omg clothes storage)
Well they did the same for Wrath. ICC was the last raid and it came out in Dec.

Re: 4.3 info on MMO Champ. (omg clothes storage)
Does it have to be armor or can I walk around appearing I'm wearing cloth? RP purposes of course. >.>
Also do we have to have the armor to get the appearance? Im looking for a black hood similar to Sylvana's is that possible?

The armor has to be of the same type. This is so PVPers don't craft plate into looking like cloth and wait for someone that isn't paying attention to try and gank them.

I'm sad too. Most if not all of my rp is non mail and I wont be able to use it. Its very annoying and I'll have to sit my ass near the ah making a mail set that wont look to good. Lest I can get my t1 set I guess.Aeladrine wrote:I'm limited to mail? Sad day.): I wish they'd made it so it could be anything, so long as you've owned it before.

doubtful this will be the last content patch before another expansion. we got sunwell after illidan, and ruby dragonshrine after arthas. perhaps abyssal maw will be further worked and added later.
never know.
