Tol Barad would be an interesting place for a spirit beast.

Especially a pet healer!

Spider spirit beast. *nod* What? There's plenty of other places to put a fox SB.

Thumbs up on Kurasu's suggestion for the lion in the oasis. :D

With Ban'thalos we have a bird now, so I'd love to see a crocodile, devilsaur, raptor, warp stalker, or serpent, or maybe even something similar to an Asian dragon for our next one.
I totally agree! As much as I love lions, I think there definitely needs to be more variety in the Spirit Beast Family. Reptiles/dinosaurs would make me incredibly happy. I would LOVE a Spirit Beast turtle or devilsaur.

I also hope there will be more "solid" looking SBs added (like Skoll and Loque) in the future. I do enjoy how my Magria/Ankha looks, though.

I would need some serious fainting couches if a reptilian spirit beast came into the picture. And my girls' main pets would have to worry about someone potentially knocking them off their podiums.

But I agree with what a few others here that we don't need anymore cat spirit beasts. They're cool looking and all and yes a lion would be very cool but there's already enough kitty SB to go around.

And after all, we seem to have come to a consensus that a special fox model would be wonderfully suited to Pandaria!

A kyuubi would be perfect, although that is japanese afaik. As long as it's solid and not ghostly. No more ghostly spirit beasts. As much as I love them, it hurts my eyes to look at them for too long. :(

Edit: Nevermind, internet says it originated from Asia, so it doesn't necessarily have to be japanese. :P

There's no reason Pandarian bestiary has to be 100% Chinese - the Pandaren are, and that's fine, but no reason the local flora and fauna can't be a little more diverse... ;)

On the topic of spirit beasts I wouldn't mind a insect one, probably the only one i'd tame actually

I think either a warpie or a Ravie would make handsome SB. And I would totaly stake out the SB rapter if they made it...it was beautiful! And beautiful art by they way :)

Hmm.

Shadow energy spider...

Glowing moth...

Could work (esp as moths are considered spirits by several cultures... and yes I know spiders aren't insects but same general idea)
