zodiac themed spirit beasts

here is the colored concept piece i told you i was working on it definately could work as a spirit beast,of course in game the scales would be a glorious glowing red but other than that i think it captures the asian theme of MoP well

I think that style of dragon would work very well on a Warp Stalker, I hope they implement something similar.

that concept went thru 3 other forms before i finally was happy with how the spikes and head looked
you can notice i used the current warp stalker skeleton to make it so if something like this where made they would know just how much they would need to adjust to make it.
also im working on my own special concept for the snake spirit beast...no pics but heres something to make you all use your imagination

That is lovely! Even if it doesn't end up a Spirit Beast, I would love to have a more 'draconic' Warp Stalker.

Oh c'mon, we'd get a spirit warp stalker for a dragon. Which I'd camp forever for.

AH, I love that idea! I mean, I don't think I'll ever replace mine, but a Spirit Beast Warp Stalker would be fun!

Speaking of Spirit Beasts, I'd like to see some more opaque Beasts, ala Loque and Skoll, in MoP. I had a brain wave of a red and black spirit beast earlier today, and I thought I'd pitch the idea.

i love to draw but really need to improve my human type figures....creatures are where i really do shine and that one was done in photoshop without a tablet and traced from a pencil sketch.
i got a tablet for christmas and i feel when i get good with it my art will only improve

Since they're spirit beasts, they don't have to match models of the other pet families, they just have to have enough of the animations.

So ram and horse have models. And rooster. They're adding an ox beast too, so it wouldn't need to be a rhino.
I'd like to see a Hozu shaped one for the monkey pet.
I just hope they'd be mostly opaque. Or if they don't make them spirit beasts, maybe loosen up the beast families, like "rhinos and friends" or "bats and pterrodax" (not that pterrodax are a zodiac animal, I just can't pass up an opportunity to lobby for them); Beetles are already practically turtles, so there's a near precedent.

yes i see but they already have a chinese dragon themed windserpent remodel in the form of the spirit of competition mini pet so i doubt they will make another similar model when they have one thats so rarely seen anyway
in other news i finished another concept sketch this time i got to use my new tablet i got for christmas and like i said its a bamboo themed windserpent(also i find it ironic that i drew it with a bamboo tablet)

Actually if arcane wyrms become beasts (some are elementals and some dragonkin but they really seem to be just big mana wyrms) they'd be perfect for the oriental dragon-themed pet. And look a lot like a dragon kite.

I finished another concept sketch; it's a bamboo themed wind serpent (ironic that I drew it with a bamboo tablet)

Eee! *grabby hands* You could even have other varieties with different culm coloration (yellow, tan, etc.)

the other day I read on wikipedia that cats were supposed to be in the zodiac but then the rat tricked him and hes not in it.
