I love the details on the hunter challenge set, but for the pvp, (and this may sound bad or weird), I would have liked to see a tiger or panther type head for the shoulder guard than the giant wolf head.

The "spikes" on the druid armor looks like they ripped the tips off of lava spiders and stitched em in. XD

...meh. shaman set is highly disappointing.

Hmm The first thing that popped into my mind was "is that possibly a new wolf model in general?" It looks like a wolf but at the same time doesn't look like any of our current wolf beasts, looks like what they did with the Saber model and toned down the fangs/made them FLUFFY etc.

Back on topic, I think I like the Challenge set, I adore dragons so I'm liking the shoulder... it's just I much prefer symmetry and only having the one shoulder being dragonish is a bit off putting. Do like the purple smoke effect :D and liking the Helm and belt. I want the black set the most but a niggling little voice is telling me it'll be the heroicsuperhardtoget set which I'll probably never see on my Hunter :( Much like the purple heroic DS set is atm. Only just started doing 10m norms and we've yet to down Ultraxion.

Same can be said with the Wolf head shoulder but DAMN I am loving the rest of it! Apart from the Helm, it's a bit too plain and meh. I'm funny with Helms though, they have to be right.
I can see the idea behind the Wolf head, real life Hunters after all make trophy kills and mount them on walls, this set is just implementing the trophies in a different way. I like to think of the Wolf heads as big bad Wolves which belonged to Garrosh and turned nasty. ;P

They should use Tauren for plate, trolls for leather, blood elves for mail, and humans for cloth. Just my opinion, humans look derpy most the time in so many outfits, it's scary!
Agreed. I hate that they always, always freaking use the stupid human models. ><

new wolf model? It just looked like a sort of worgen head to me. XD

/edit

Also humans are a blank slate.

No tails.

No giant ears.

No giant eyebrows.

No 3 fingered hands.

No hooves.

XD You get to see -all- the bits of the armor without things being cut off or getting poked through.

True, but the human forms still just...seem to warp the armor a bit. It always looks just a bit "off" to me on a human model.

No, honestly, its more that the details either stretch or scrunch in weird ways on them to me. Male trolls have similar problems. I think it's just cause the models are old and "clunky". :lol:

While this feature of the Grimtotem Spirit Guide wasn't exactly intended... - it will still be possible in future for everyone who wishes to tame this NPC to do so

Nope! I mentioned that back a bit. Other than the random gaping dead wolf head on the shoulder, I like it though! :lol:

This is my take and opinions on all the armor. We will start with Hunter gear first since well, I am a hunter. xD

PvE Hunter Gear - All around, I think it looks pretty awesome. I have to nitpick that belt like everyone else though and just say, "WTF?!" Not a fan of the helm though because I don't see a hunter wearing something like that. o.O "Hang on guys I need to remove my sombrero before the raid so I can actually see." xD

PvP Hunter Gear - o.O I laughed at the Worgen head comment. I guess because I am Horde? xD But I wonder if we are getting a remodel or new model of wolves as well. I kinda hope so because I like the way it looks. But it also gives me the, "PET! You disobeyed me now I shall wear your head upon my shoulder! >:( Mawhahahaha" xD Other than that I kinda like it. But truthfully, I think the PvP set needs to be the PvE set. Makes more sense to me because this looks more "natural" and the PvE set looks more "run into a battlefield and kill Alliance/Horde" to me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DK Gear - Glad they finally gave them something that actually looks like DK gear. (to me anyway) I like it. :)
Druid Gear - I LOVE it other than the spikey bits. o.o
Pally Gear - It actually looks very "Pally" to me. lol I saw a comment that it looked like a Power Ranger xD
Priest Gear - *shudder* I play a Priest as well, and I know they are all religion and stuff, but it just looks fugly to me...<.<
Rogue Gear - WTF BLIZZARD!? I have NEVER understood why Rogues get this bulky ass gear. They are suppose to be these sneaky/ninja type class so WTF not give them something very NINJA like!?!?! Why do they have to bulk the shit out of them....seriously...and I don't even PLAY a Rogue...ffs...
Shaman Gear - WTF...o.O *no words*
If the PVP shoulder wolf head is that big on a human, imagine how large it will be on an orc or tauren O.O
I like the pve armor myself. The bulky belts on most of the sets are an improvement from the "wrestling" belts but when I looked at the pally video first I couldn't help but think "codpiece"
I would also like to point out this bit of info that was said on the MoP Press tour.
In addition, something that we are doing with these armor sets that we have never done before is giving them all unique effects that trigger off of something you do with your character class.
That is for the challenege mode gear, Makes me wonder what the effects will be.
I really love the hunter pve set, it's nicely done with all the dragon details.
I like the shoulders the most with the curled up dragon with purple smoke/fire coming out of it.
Makes you wonder what the tier sets will look like with all this detail there doing.
The pvp set is also pretty cool and It is MUCH better then the current cata pvp set. :lol:
Looking at it a little more it looks like they just shaved the beard and pulled out the lower teeth of the Vicious War Wolf Mount to make the head. Oooo...it would be nice if they converted the mount to a new beast to tame.
About the challenge sets... I like the bronze the most.
Gold second. Silver... IMO just is too clashy... I never did like grey/silvers and yellows.
The bronze one looks aged, and very regal, lovely purples. The gold one is very nice too, looks clean and sharp!
The pvp set holy crap those shoulders o-o
