What *new* tameables would you like?

Agreed! I LOVE spiders, but their outdated models put me off!

I'm usually not so shallow but I just can't bond with them even though I would love to!

Water Striders and Goats are a go! Their abilities have all been discovered by MMOChampion. You might as well take down those options?

Not yet! After all, Hydras *also* have an ability, but there's no tameable ones.

The difference being Hydras were added so that the one people tamed through the glitch were no longer classified as crocolisks.

These were newly added. Most likely if they aren't tameable yet, it's just because they haven't gotten around to marking any as tameable.

I see I stand corrected. Going through the threads, I see there's a bunch of new families being reported as tameable.

Basilisks! And Marsh Walkers/Water Bugs! .... hmmmm.

My pick for other.. which doesn't even exist would be a white model Sambas with sabre teeth but with an Echyakee roar (i.e. Echy 2.0). EDIT: Also doesn't exist.. but I would adore a tameable platypus.

Like, if we can have aquatic companions why can't we have aquatic pets? XD HUnters have -some- magic, as seen with skills like Arcane Shot, so it's not against logic they can sustain a bubble for their pets. ;3

Unlike the Silithid, they are sentient beings, and Blizzard has stated many times in the past we won't have tameable sentient beings.

The silithid APPEAR sentient (at least in AQ) but that's only because they're being controlled by C'thun.

Yaks would be sweet, though at least we got the goats. Yaks and goats were my most wanted of the new beast creatures added to the game so far.

We tamed the Bug Trio in Ahn'Qiraj Temple and the other Colossus in Ahn'Qiraj Ruins.

They were bosses and part of the Qiraj as it would seem.

I also gave our little Ravenous Kunchong group on the island @ Townlong Steppes a visit (the ones that were found, they are red Mantid tanks with huge elites one and little really miniature ones) and they are listed as beasts.

The area they are in is listed as 'feeding pits' and there are bones scattered about.

"Feeding Pits" doesn't seem appropriate for something with supposed above-average intellect and sentience.

So happy to hear that goats are tameable! Along with porcupines, they were my favourites. I have also voted for Yak, although thanks to Veph's mushan collage on page one of this thread, I would have voted for them too. How adorable!

We're not sure what exactly "mantid tank" entails - a tank used by Mantids, or a Mantid who's a tank? If it's the former, they may be flagged as beasts and thus tameable.

I got all the pets I wanted since I voted soooo.... I guess only thing I'd want now is Talbukks and Stags being tamable (even if it were under Goat). But I'm honestly pretty content now XD
