It is no longer as likely that Anduin perishes, as new audio for Varian has him sending for Velen--arguably one of the most powerful priests on Azeroth.
Consider that Anduin was able to bring Varian back from being damn near dead, and a ray of hope shines.

As completely incompatible with the priest class I was never able to level any past lvl20... but I think I'll pray, too
