NEW RAPTORS

There are two different colors up on wowhead. A "yellow" one and a dark greenish one

Awesome I was hoping there'd be more than the three primary colours we'd seen.

mixed thoughts:
- They're quite beautifully done
- But they're also very vanilla. Again they veered away from Outland stylings in favour of something average.

The latter is assuming these are intended for Draenor and not updates for trolls or something. Maybe they are.

I was thinking something similar. They are no doubt nice (and that mount, zomg amazing) but these beautiful things became the spiny outland raptors?

I'm thinking something troll related myself. It would be a bit odd that these are the ones that turn into the Ol ones, I mean that would be like saying vanilla boars turned into the OL ones

As much as I DESPERATELY wanted updated raptor models ..................... I am not ............ all that excited for these. Part of that is as I'm practically a herpetologist the jaw structure drives me nuts. Not to mention the red eyes on the green model. Yes it's a fantasy game and blah blah blah but there's some things that one has a very tough time seeing past. Kind of like the poor emaciated Chimeras. At least the armored model covered that up some but those have since changed.
The skull /jaw structure of these is really off putting to me. As if they have some form of bone disease.
I'd love them if not for that. Maybe it'll grow on me but my immediate reaction was like

I love these very much! They stayed true to the old model, and I just love that. I have always been a little afraid of what would happen if/when they updated the models of the old beasts, but if this is the way they're going, I'll calm down.

I hope they bring out an updated OL model ;-;

And yes, I really hope so too. I love the Outland raptor model.
