Hello Petopia! Just made an account here, as I recently started rare pet hunting. 
Interesting story, though, I was camping this bad boy a little while ago and had tabbed out, reading this very forum when I heard my rare tracker go off. I tabbed back in, and there he was! Tamed him with no trouble. So apparently this thread was my lucky charm. Thanks!
