Patch 11.2.5

Nothing major, but it looks like a good few NPCs got flagged on PTR. Some might already be tameable, considering Wowhead is pretty inaccurate if you know how to search it, but it seems like some island expedition mobs got flagged. None of the ones people actually want, but things like some of the named rares, a few basilisks, and a few snakes are flagged. I haven't had time to actually play the PTR, so I can't verify it personally, but usually, Wowhead's right when things to get flagged.

Let's just hope it's not another case of razorwings where they get unflagged for absolutely no reason lol.

Well spotted! That's really interesting. Checking them will be painful, however :/

There was a reason Whether or not it was the right call may be debatable, but they did have a valid reason for delaying their tameability until the animation was fixed.

Update, I found both Gritplate Basilisk and Wall-Breaker Ha'vik - 2 rares that are flagged as tameable on Wowhead for 11.2.5 but not 11.2. Neither was tameable in mythic mode. Perhaps they're tameable in other difficulties but I haven't had any luck with those so far.

Bah, I say. They were perfectly fine in everyone's eyes who saw them. They just like to bully us hunters lol.

Figured as much. Like I said, Wowhead does give incorrect info every so often. At this point I'm thinking we won't get anything really new until Midnight pre-patch at earliest. I'm also at the point where I think they just straight up forgot about islands in general lol.
