For me, it's the colors. I'd love to see a diseased red crab with barnacles that ooze green, for instance. But I find the current ones kind of boring.

I agree. If they had more of a variation in their "macabre" pets I *might* race change to a Forsaken Hunter when that becomes available. I do hope they add different type of diseased skins into the game for up-and-coming Forsaken Hunters to tame so they aren't stuck with the usual Bat, Diseased Bear/Wolf, Plagued Swine, etc..

I think the poor sick beasts need to be taken care of  so I got the wolf from Felwood and he gets all the love and care (and skin ointment) he needs

For me, it was mostly that I had decided on a bit of a story before hand. It was mostly just a thought, but it went along the lines of "What would happen if your pet died and you couldn't rez it for a while? What if it started to decompose?" Adding to that, at the time I decided to tame him, there was glitch where Mend Pet just WOULDN'T WORK. It was a one day glitch, didn't last long, and I've never heard of anyone else ever having had a problem like that. But for me, it sealed the deal.

Basically, Badru died, and it was weeks before Dona was capable of rezzing him. In that time, he did what dead things do-- decompose.

I like him for the story, and because, in my head, he was always rather skitish around people. Becomin a hated zombie that people think is part of the Scourge only added to his skittishness.

I personally ADORE the diseased wolves! I dunno why, but I just do.... I got a little Felpaw Wolf as soon as I could on my main, and I've loved my little undead woof-woof ever since! The reason I tamed him was cause at the time I was rather obsessed with a character from an anime that I really like, and that particular character had been killed over 10 years before the actual story-line, but had been ressurected by the main villain, and so I thought I could totally name a little undead wolf after him! And well, it turned out pretty well, as I've had him ever since! Except for a slight year or so long vacation that he and another pet of mine had, but that's a whole 'nother story!

Let me put it this way... You get a scab on your knee. Yes it hurts at first, but you forget about it in a little while. I'm sure that's whats going on with these pets... with never healing scabs... and bite marks... and rot...

But they are adorable to me :D
