They're removing all class quests. -.-

That's very tragic. I wouldn't mind so terribly if they made them optional, but to remove them completely? That makes me very sad. I love lore and quest lines that make me feel as if my character is learning/doing something. I know Blizzard likes to make it "easy mode" but really, what about those of us who like to make the effort? Shouldn't we at least get the option? :(

EXACTLY!

I mean, take warlocks for example. We go out, fetch the required reagents for a summoning, defeat our demon and enslave it. We don't just go to a teacher and say "can u teech me 2 sumon sucubus plz lol", we have to do it ourselves! It's removing a huge part of the flavoring for each class. Sure, some of the class quests needed some redoing, since most skipped them because they were annoying and didn't give rewards that were worth it, but removing them altogether?

That is very disappointing. I love quests that teach a player more about their class... it's much more interesting. I remember the trouble I had with the seal quest because it was harder then but that made it so much more satisfying, even if it was pretty freaky looking. :p They really ought to at least make them optional.

Now I'm going to have to rush to get the 5k gold so I can get and do the epic flight line quest. I know we've been able to buy it for a while now, but I want to do the questline.

I think the big reason for removing the majority of class quests is because Blizzard doesn't quite like the idea of some people not being able to experience a questline just because they didn't roll a certain class... Which I think is crap. People wouldn't be unhappy missing out on a class quest of awesome if they had one themselves. I always thought it'd be cool if they made an epic class quest that rewarded you with the class specific title, the one that would have gone to the fastest people to hit 80 before Blizz realised how dumb an idea that was. Back in the day, the Benediction and Rok'delar questlines were amazing, it makes the game a little more blander that we won't be seeing their like again.

It's interesting to note that the upcoming Star Wars MMO is going to opposite direction, in which every class has their own storyline. >.>

I never played vanilla WoW but the druid was the first class I ever played, I remember doing the bear form quest and when I went to go get my cat form I always thought "what about the spirit cat? he needs people to visit him :<" I really wish blizz would actually put more class quests in, they make the game fun. and it would be nice to atleast have the option to do it :\ blizz doesn't make any sense to me sometimes -_-
