No, but you have to build combo points for greatest power on attacks.. /facepalm. My pally is getting shelved permamently.

Regarding resist auras being combined, it kinda makes sense with the other combinations that we're seeing. Plus, it's kind of like improved tracking being changed so that we could have almost any tracking up for it to work, rather than the specific tracking we needed at that moment.
