I do think this will stay in, though, as these guys are NOT tameable on live/the PTR, but they are in beta. Seems like an intentional change.

BTW, since I had my corehound army and nothing else to do (no Krush up ) I ran them by Un'goro to start taming random devilsaurs. (And by random, I mean the white one, who's been the only one to spawn for me for ages on any toon.) I can confirm that the cast time on the tame does NOT show your haste. It looks like the normal 10s cast time. BUT the tame itself does account for your haste. I am pretty sure my cast time with puppy lust is like....3s. Going to go hunt down another dino to confirm. Oh look, it's Whitey again. Yeah, about 3-4 seconds. That's pretty nuts.

P.S. Taming gorillas on the PTR still turns them into "Primates."

Am I the only one who likes the idea of Blizzard adding some more hard-to-tame beasts? Especially with uncommon skins!

On my Tauren hunter, I have a white theme, and have the white worm as my main tanking pet. Amazing pet; with Acid Spit and Thunderstomp, I've been able to solo 2-3-man group quests

Personally, I love the idea of "challenge tamings", but I don't particularly like it when it's for a previously well-available pet.

Not sure how much of a challenge this will actually be with the quicker tames and free availability of puppy lust. >_>

Well, in regards to currently being unable to tame them in the PTR, they did say that they hadn't changed around any of the zones or mobs yet. So there's a chance for the "real" 4.0 patch to bring about the full cata changes, at least to the old world, not just the character abilities. (I'm actually curious as to how and when they're going to make the change... making a huge patch on launch day to change all the terrain just seems to me like it would make for a messy launch day... but this is the first expansion where current terrain is changing instead of just "you can't get to the new zones yet" like 2.0 and 3.0)

On the flipside, if they don't drop the continent changes with 4.0, you can still get the sunken temple worms and be set. (which I'm probably going to do anyway, just in case... I love my Grubthor but the white skin is rather pretty). Also keep in mind, Silithus hasn't been started on Beta, so there's a chance for white worms there (and possibly more silithid skins!).

Oh yeah, I wouldn't expect them to be tameable on the PTR if they aren't beasts on live....but I forgot they aren't beasts on live. xD

And yes, the 4.0 patch won't add the Shrunken Temple, so until the Cataclysm world changes go in (whichever patch that'll be in), those will still be the only white worms available.
