Won't it be fine if you tame it and then stable it?Knobhead wrote:DO NOT TAME THIS IN THIS BUILD! It cannot be rendered on the character selection screen and you'll end up crashing all the time if you select your hunter on the character selection screen! Wait for later builds before taming this.

Re: Deep Spiders (Deepholm) are now tameable!
Yes, I made a later post detailing that it can be tamed; just don't have it as the active pet when you log out or you'll run into the mentioned crash. You can still log in though with some quick mouse+keyboard combo. I'll add that post to the first post as well.Zeilla8 wrote:Won't it be fine if you tame it and then stable it?Knobhead wrote:DO NOT TAME THIS IN THIS BUILD! No to the Gyreworms, and yes the new Shale Spider will give a critical error upon hitting character screen if your hunter is selected. I had the same problem and luckily someone else on the forums did too and was able to find a workaround. When I did manage to log in, the pet was already gone and I recieved an "Internal Pet Error" message.

Red skinned ones are tameable too!
Also, since I didn't see it listed anywhere, these spiders seem to be tenacity, of all things!

But still! Look how tiny they are! Would you trust something that size to protect you from an angry dragon?Teigan wrote:Well, they ARE made of rock.silverstenopad wrote:Red skinned ones are tameable too!

Which red ones are tameable? There were a couple that were previously classed as elementals. Any chance of please getting a screenshot?silverstenopad wrote:Red skinned ones are tameable too!

Doesn't look very "red" to me. Doesn't really look any different than from the 1st Tameable, Exotic Shale spider. What's the difference(s) between the "2", Exotic Tameable Shale spiders?

I generally stay well clear of the spiders in-game (arachnophobia ftl), but I have to agree on this one - they're so cuuuuute!Vephriel wrote:D'awww they're SO adorable! xD
