Silithid Colossi tameable once again!

Woot, I'm glad they made this Silithid re-tameable!

so Haarka is completely changed to Harakiss? Or they're completely different npcs i.e. find one somewhere, find the other somewhere else. Can't check wowhead as it's not up yet to see if it's the same ID as live.

Yea, I am also wondering if they got separate mob IDs or simply replacements.

My previously tamed Soriid still looks like how Soriid does on live. So I assume they are still separate ID's - whether both still exist together is another question.

I didn't see either of those old rares at the time I was looking.

I did see Lapress (rare normal silithid style) in Silithus, but she still looked like a silithid.

They are Tameable. I seriously doubt that Tameable Collosuses are somehow "bugged" again. That's... "silly".

One reason that they perhaps didn't is that it's bad practice to entirely change someone's pet that way during the translation from WotLK to Cata. Especially when the size difference might mean players will find the new one annoying after the novelty wears off. I know there are still other pets out there that are translating to something else entirely, but it's probably not good.

True enough, though they could always use different IDs. I guess they figured that they already made them, so they might as well keep 'em.

Awesome! Was kinda nice to think I could "do my shopping early" and have a brain bug waiting for me when the cata patch hits but I guess we can't have everything - if I have to camp it with everyone else that's a small price to pay.

As far as I can tell, there are only 4 colossus skins total, and this covers two of them. Hopefully the remaining two will be used elsewhere in the game (there are plenty of hives without brain bugs still!)

The other two colours are:
- SilithidTankBossSkin: peachy-purple, only used by Vem, a boss in AQ40
- SilithidTankBossSkin_Red: orange-red, only used by Lord Kri, a boss in AQ40
