For the record, I am a BM AND MM. I'm still calm about this and trust Blizzard to fix it before it goes live.

They were this stupid on 3.0.8. There was several threads, hundreds of posts of Hunters all saying the exact same thing about it when it was on the PTR for over a week.

Then 2 weeks after it goes live they admitted they felt the overnerf was too hard. And what'd they do? Absolutely NOTHING.

So I disagree, Blizzard can be that stupid about numbers.

Look, I'm normally one of the first people to say "Don't panic" about these things. But those numbers are a massive nerf. It nerfs BM's pets, it nerfs BM's only 'shot' type ability, it nerfs BM's focus regen ((Which in turn nerfs pet numbers MORE because of Wild Hunt)) and it nerfs BM's signature ability BW. The nerfs range from bad to horrendous. This was not a balancing patch, this was a "Knock it to the floor." patch. I am sure they'll build it back up ((PRay it doesn't take them another year)) but unfortunately for BM, that's probably not going to happen before 4.01 goes live.

This. BM is back to lol-leveling.

I'm wondering right now if I'm going to bother getting the expansion. If BM damage is truly back to a lol-leveling spec, I'm done.

Anyone on Windrunner here and in SoCal and want to buy 120k gold?

Frankly, I don't think they really care about a raging community.

I do hope they fix things, but, if BM is back to 15% or more lower than MM again, I AM done, and will not bother with the expansion. My gold is for sale.

I also agree. You're overreacting over something that could be fixed soon once Blizzard sees the numbers. Even in 3.0.8, I still played my BM like a champ and people were impressed at how I stuck to it despite what others said. Infact, it inspired and earned me new friends.

They built BM around KC, and are having major problems balancing the damage, and appear to be trying all kinds of things. (I've had this feeling before as a Ret pally).

With the release date confirmed, I highly doubt this will get fixed the way it needs to, as KC seems to be what is breaking the whole system, and they don't seem to have an answer for it. MM and SV will likely get KC balanced for them, but BM is going to suffer.

What irks me the most is the further nerfs to the high-end BM talents. Other than getting exotics, there isn't much at the top of the tree. Bestial Wrath is a joke now.

I am fucking SICK of being mocked for being BM. I will NOT play a third-rate spec again. If you want to run around and collect pretty pets, that's fine.

And it certainly doesn't help when bloggers/podcasters like Frostheim are vocally encouraging the nerfs, and railing about how BM has no business raiding.

Why can't I quit if I don't like the direction the game is going?.. I'm supposed to play something I don't enjoy? Between this and the stupid idea of holy light combo points for pallys, I really am ready to pack it in.

BM isnt that bad. Infact, they shine more than given credit for. People will bitch but those who aren't stupid and trollish will admire and applaud those who go outside the norm.

And Slick? There are more classes than hunters and pallies. A LOT more. Try those. While Senna did go overboard, I personally agree you are being childish about this. And I think Saturo was just joking about that.....(I could be wrong though!). But keep in mind......the world is not ending. Also I haven't seen Frostheim say anything of the sort.
