Anyways since we have a Simba, basically, could you keep your eye out for a Blizzard homage, possibly, to Kimba? the debatable 'Disney stole from manga and all that for a lion cartoon', Kimba was a white lion and all.

Or perhaps someone can ticket for a Kimba to be put in? As I would love to tame a white skin of this model :)

I can say the major problem is really just the hair and how much it has right below it's head, but again not so much the hair but how Blizzard has it clumped together.

And I still love it alot more than the Going Slowly Bald model :)

Nah if I remember right Kalli, it was a rarespawn red scorpid. Alot like the rarespawn red hyena, both in Tanaris. I think this is because well, Tanaris flooded and all of the red scorpids there, well, drowned. Which isn't surprising, afaik irl, Scorpions aren't the best swimmers.

And I'm doubting if it is put in, it's gonna be anything lower than what Sambas is :p

can hope and all but bet it's most likely gonna be lv 80+ too.

Since the lion isn't in Uldum, I was actually wondering if a rare based on that Horde scorpid mount was. I guess time will tell

Aha, I patched up WMV and checked it up. Unless I did something wrong there's only the one Alliance lion colour at the moment.

However the Horde scorpid has 5 potential colours!

Then what about the Jade Ruby serpent, the jade owl, the ghostly jade owl, the ghost pets, the robotic scorpion?

These don't look mechanical Kalli, and I don't see how you think they're to armored/mechanical when they don't even make me think of steampunk or whatever.

I mean we're able to tame living chunks of rock that are called Shale Spiders.

I thought many of them looked a bit artificial when I saw them too. Like they're coated in enamel. Then again, arthropods are often coated in bright colours that would otherwise look very artificial if we didn't expect it of them. Look at all our new beetles, for example. The brown one that the mount uses seems the most sombre and "natural" and I expect if they only put one in the game (and it's speculation whether they've even done that) then I think it'd have to be that one.

I know you're entitled to your own opinion, as I am mine, it's just, I can't see how you see it as mechanical, I mean it comes off more as .. earthy/of the earth than mechanical, mostly the rock like armor/spikes. I mean irl we have praying mantids that can resemble orchids to a disturbingly beautiful degree, I don't see the harm for having a tameable scorpid that looks more rugged of the earth and all.

I mean I don't like the idea of a spirit crab but I didn't go to the thread and say 'I don't want it tameable because it's not spirity' enough, nor that I wouldn't want one tameable ever :/

Though I guess I shouldn't be afraid of blizzard not putting it in, they put the lion in and I know how much hate it's gotten since release.

Also at Wain- Ironically I was looking at scorpion pictures after this thread.
