For me, it's not that I think that they're a fad pet or overused or anything like that, I just don't like how any of them look. I'd much MUCH rather camp King Krush because I love the color green and I've always liked dinosaurs. When Blizz introduces some new spirit beasts, I'll see if there are any I like. But I like for my hunter to "match" my pet and none of the spirit beasts will do that for me. I'm sure it's exhiliarating to finally find one, but I'd rather spend all that effort and time on something I know ahead of time I'll like. :)

Personally I feel Blizz missed out on a great opportunity with Spirit Beasts, they could have used any of the beast that are untamable for Spirit Beast skins. That way they wouldn’t have to create special attacks, etc, and we hunters can get the beasts we’ve always wanted, but never been able to get. I’ll get a Spirit Beast when they make a Wyvern into a Spirit Beast!

Oooh, you know this is an excellent point and I really hope they consider something like this for the future!

I probably won't end up getting a Spirit Beast due to reverse exoticism (the more mundane pets are the new rares.) It's like finding a burger place in Japan, as someone described that concept.

Let me add my two cents on this...lol

Last night I helped my friend get Loque'nahak. We camped him for four hours...and the day before that,she had camped him for seven...lol! Thats a lot of time,my friend...but worth it! When NPCscan went off,my heart started pounding like it did when
I first got my SB bear. She doesn't have any addons,so I was happy to help her.

Anyway,at 7:11 this morning,my exhausted friend,Verrae,is the proud companion of Loque'nahak!...lol!

But back on topic...I have two empty stable slots now...one for Skoll,the other for Loque'nahak...and no,I don't think your
weird for not wanting one. But like others have stated,once you try one,you may never go back. Lol!
