I have to agree with Cialbi with this one. What pet will take its place? I personally would never follow such a rule. Too restrictive plus I like too many in a lot of categories.Cialbi wrote:I get the feeling that you're asking us to persuade you to keep Rak'shiri so as to resolve your dilemma. If you were to abandon Rak'shiri, who would you be putting into the vacated stable slot? For that matter, do you even have a purpose for abandoning the cat apart from staying true to your rule?Blackthorne wrote:I have a small problem though with regards to mine. Re: Rak'shiri
I have to follow that rule personally because there are just too many pets I want out there and 25 slots still isn't enough for me (already at capacity!). I also only tame rares and pets with unique skins if the family doesn't have a rare in it for example. I do try to balance covering all my bases as a hunter (stat wise) while still fulfilling my wants as a collector. So yes there is also a practical reason beyond my disorder, that being I need a wind serpent / dragonhawk slot.Taluwen wrote:I have to agree with Cialbi with this one. What pet will take its place? Anyway, I didn't mean to derail your thread at all, just a little insight into a dilemma I'm having atm with my own Rak'shiri. Again, grats on your tame Taluwen.

S'all cool, blackie! x3 Thanks!
Well rather than filling all slots on all buffs of pets you'll probably never use, why not just tame the pets YOU like? 9 times out of 10, no ones gonna care what you bring. I think the most 'asked for' pets are Cats and Corehounds cause of their buffs.

Re: Rak'shiri
Well said! Heck, 99% of the non-hunter population don't even know that pets give decent buffs now. I say the choice is obvious. If you like two cats, keep two cats. While I can't speak for you, I'm sure that there would be a pet you disliked more than your cats that you could rehome. At the end of the day they are pets, a sub-benefit of your class, and you need to do what makes you happy.Taluwen wrote:S'all cool, blackie! x3 Thanks!

I think it was, though she rather cracks me up.
I am a Worgen (was origionally a Belf, then a Draenei,, but I found the race for me).
When I'm in my human form? My kitty is bigger then I am!
But she is gorgeous.

Definitely worth the camp or random stumble upon. I love her to bits. x3 Infact, she just helped me save a group 3 times in Blood Furnace when the tank died. XDTilo wrote:grats! Re: Rak'shiri
Meh, i kill the rarespawns on Azeroth often if no one is after em because they spawn quite quickly (certain ones i dont touch like Spiteflayer and that yellow felboar who's also in Blasted Lands because i do know ppl like them), i saw rak 5 times in 2 days and he prolly spawned a few more times during the night when i wasnt on so he isnt exactly something you wait for days on end. And i did ask hunters if they wanted him with 'No' all around from them with the exception of one hunter :/Taluwen wrote:Xa - Shame. I'd never kill him. I'd leave him alone personally.

Re: Rak'shiri
Um...Rak'shiri has a 12 - 16 hour respawn timer. I wouldn't call that quick. ^^;Xakaal wrote:Meh, i kill the rarespawns on Azeroth often if no one is after em because they spawn quite quickly (certain ones i dont touch like Spiteflayer and that yellow felboar who's also in Blasted Lands because i do know ppl like them), i saw rak 5 times in 2 days and he prolly spawned a few more times during the night when i wasnt on so he isnt exactly something you wait for days on end. Re: Rak'shiri
Seeing him several times in two days seems quick to me. Now because of the timer ppl would disbelieve what i saw and i cant prove it but i did see him quite often and there is a glitch in the timers where they may spawn 15min-3 hours after the despawn/kill/tame that i learned from another hunter who congrats'd me on tamking a spirit beast she too was camping for
and no i am not swear on my heart sure on the glitch because ive never waited from when the rare was dealt with till it made its next return

Re: Rak'shiri
Taluwen, I already confirmed (Three times) Rak'Shiri's spawn time has dropped drastically to minimum 2/3 hours. The longest she took was 6 so the old one is pretty out now.
My main's a Druid so I of course love critters. That counts for something right? Right?

EDit: Yup. Almost exactly 8 hours of MY camping but he could have no been there longer. I don't think its out. If he does have a new time, It'd be 6 - 12 hours atleast.

Re: Rak'shiri
No it's not 6 minimum otherwise how did I find her within 2/3? I saw her just after a Hunter tamed her then flying over on my Druid a couple hours later, oh hey there she is. Granted I don't know how long she was there before I went over but that is an insanely shorter span than 6.
Been a few weeks so can't remember if it was 2 or 3 hours as I can't remember if it was just after 2pm or 3pm I saw her the first time, but I do know I found her again after 5pm so yeah :c Even we thought it was ridiclous.

Re: Rak'shiri
Well look at my first post. I started camping at 6:00am. I did not see her spawn once until almost 2pm. I didnt log out. I was awake the entire time camping. That's nearly 8 hours. So I'm gonna have to say I debunked 6 is at it's max since mine was almost 8+ hours.Ariamodasu wrote:No it's not 6 minimum otherwise how did I find her within 2/3? Re: Rak'shiri
I didn't mean max time for her to show, I meant the MINIMUM spawn time she might show up which was around the 2/3 hour mark. All I'm saying is that the old timer should be ignored and people can check back more often than they used to. She is largely being elft alone tho, forever seeing her up whenever any of mine are up that way.
