Yeah, if you look at the screenshots (I totally forgot to highlight it, sorry!) there's an icon with a sleeping/closed eye. It's a buff called "Grovekeeper's Incense" or something. You have to have that buff to enter that "phase". =)Acherontia wrote:Oooh, thanks so much Rikaku. So when you say "need to have the buff to access this area," and "Rather its a phase in which you need a buff to be there"--just so I'm 100% on this, you mean there's actually a buff on your char enabling you to see the stuff, right?
If so then you're absolutely right and I'm outta luck! Thanks a ton for posting these regardless though

Awww, okay. Tyvvvvvm for your help
Well, if anyone is interested, I'll post here what I put on the Uldum Beetles thread:
I did find a way to tame phased mobs, IF you meet some criteria for it. IF you can see the mobs, but they vanish before you can get close enough to tame...
I found that if you lay a freeze trap JUST inside the phased zone, back up so you're outside it, Concussive Shot the beast so it runs into the trap, and then tame, you can tame phased beasts.
That method has three points:
* The trap stops it from leaving the phased zone (and thus vanishing)
* You must be in range of (and have LoS on) the mob
* It allows you to stand outside the phased zone so you can see the phased mobs
But the important thing is actually the LoS. It doesn't help if you can see the mob by hovering a bit away on a flyer, because if you can't see it while able to stand still & channel at it while in range you can't do it.
